| 1 | I hate what they’ve done to the Boy scoutsI know this is an old post but bear with me. I couldn’t seem to spot anyone actually involved in scouting commenting. Girl Scouts started because girls went to a scout rally and asked Baden-Powell for an equivalent organisation. Where I’m from (UK) initially it was 15-20 year old group that was coed in the 70’s before it filtered down. Scouts have always allowed female scout masters and is seen (at least where I’m from) as a more adventurous option for those who like more physical pursuits.
