Pretty much everyone feels mature for their age, so take that into account, and keep maturing. Secondly, look for mature wifey material. Dating older can be a great way to increase that pool. Specifically dating mature people does decrease the pool, so if thats what youre after, you need to be patient. Patience shouldnt be a problem for those who are mature.

Physical Attraction plays some part. That is obvious. Saying that PA plays the only part and is the singular sum total of every single relationship is actively more regressive than ignoring the affects of PA. Further, going to the gym improves many other aspects such as social life, social skills, continual effort and scheduling, reliability, endurance, and for many people peice of mind. You cant define "they flip it back to PA" by this example. Not all people are even PA'ed to Gym goers.

Ive never participated in gym culture, but everything ive ever seen about gym culture suggests this is indeed flirting. That said, I dont know that ive ever been concious of a girl flirting with me.

It is just a guessing game. Dont guess the same way as youve already failed. Find things that work. Yes you will fail, but -that- is the only way you learn

Hey homie, there's a way forward. Let me know if you want to call and talk about where youre at, and how to have a plan forward.

Let it get to you. Let yourself analyze and critique every detail. Figure out what you did wrong. Then fix it. This is what practice is about. Keep analyzing, and work on your worst traits, until theyre your best traits. Grow, build, and live. Get out there and do. Meeting people is a skill, and must be learned by doing.

Its natural to have feelings about things that ultimately, is none of your business. The best way to go about that, is to note them, realize its none of your business, and move on. You started this out with the fact that you are no longer pursuing her. But she's still a 'super good friend' so why cant you be happy for both of them? Residual feelings fade away.

Every guy has options. Or at least 99.99% of guys on this planet have options.

Wow, its almost like "women" is a group made up of approximately half of all the individual people on the planet, and lumping them all in together ends up back firing. If someone said that to you, there is likely a few aspects of that interaction that you did poorly. Not saying that woman wasnt being rude/condescending/etc. Just that no interaction goes well, and the -only- thing you can -do- to make interactions go better is improve -your- end.

Bring something that you can fit in your pockets. Begin bringing it wherever you go. Challenge random strangers to battle with it

Youre doing it wrong. Dont focus on "talking to some girl so you can seduce them" Focus on "talk to some human so we can both enjoy eachothers company" and everything else will go from there

At any point that you make a generalization about a group of people, it is YOU that is the problem.

It means youre not ready, or you havent found the right one yet. This is a long game. Find someone you want to be with. And it isnt good or bad to itself. Dont intentionally lead people on, be honest with how youre feeling. But its not your fault if youre not feeling it. Just make sure youre doin your best for both parties.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
