The 3rd option is circumventing men.

What facets of society could one "take?" That's like asking how I take an ideal.

Because feminism encourages it, many do take shit, and care about men's opinions.

No. Take control from them if you want their system to work for you. If you feel disempowered, keep in mind that systems of power only exist with the consent of the majority, and serfs always outnumber aristocrats. What people should ask is if they even want that system, and what could replace it.

Women want to be treated as equals, no? Doesn't that require the approval of men if the world is male dominate and men hold power? Therein is the problem with waiting for and nicely asking for approval instead of subverting the system that grants it. Which doesn't mean outright warfare on it from the outside. Rats in the walls will also get the job done, with less obvious damage.

This is why I'm not a feminist: as a group, feminists (as in people; not feminism as a movement) tend to place way too much emphasis on the opinions of men that they don't like, over actually uplifting women or men. Can we just forget men who are jealous or women who aren't perfect feminists and move on?

No and no. My mother led by example as someone who was in charge because she was strong and capable. She didn't use sexuality and I was never encouraged to be sexual, just to focus on real self-improvement and self-sufficiency. All that I was told about sex was to learn about it and to be healthy and safe and to masturbate rather than do anything bad for myself or others, and don't be abusive or get abused in a relationship. It's better to be single and don't rush into relationships, sex, marria…

When he changes to become, in her words, "an ass hole", suddenly she can't keep her pants on and she's fucking him constantly. Does it matter that this is done out of fear or duty when it's demanded, or does it only matter that more sex is acquired?

I prefer guys who have a low count, and worry that a promiscuous guy has had unsafe sex or isn't a good partner. That's not always the case, but still a worry. I understand if guys also feel the same way. IMHO there are just different types of people who have different sexual styles and want different things. It doesn't always work out to try to date someone who wants casual sex when you don't and vice versa. Trying to change for someone else is not to be undertaken lightly, and it's fine to wan…

Reading this has added to my happiness that I've slept with men without ever touching their sperm. Condoms are mandatory for everything.

Http://men-in-full.tumblr.com This question is absurd. Of course there are women attracted to fat men. The problem is that many fat men hate themselves. How can someone be attracted to a quality in someone that he hates about himself? That's not going to work out.

Yes. I've dumped guys that many friends (male and female) approved of, for one that they didn't, because they didn't see what I did. In school, some male friends set me up with this guy who was attractive (to them), that they thought was charming, had lots of sex, etc. What he didn't have was respect for me or my interests and goals, and that they thought this guy was "perfect" because he was "hot" and had sex with their female friends also helped me to realize that they weren't really good frie…

If attention is all you get off to and you don't want to actually have good sex, this might be true.

Not religious or conservative. What good is getting the largest quantity of attention from women if you're not sexually compatible with any of them? Seems like a waste of time/empty bragging rights. Also, if all you want is sexual attention, then why not be a stripper?

What I consider a first move (beyond just friendly talking) is lightheartedly teasing a guy (not negging or humiliating) and then seeing how he reacts. If he's responding well to it, then that's usually a good sign, and I'd escalate stuff from there as long as the response is still positive. Worst that happens is that I end up with a flirtatious friend. If he's immediately not into some light teasing, then he's either uninterested or doesn't like being approached, and he'll usually just excuse h…

It depends entirely on what kind of guy he is and what kind of gal he wants, as well as the nature of the desired relationship. If he wants a beta woman who will be his second fiddle, then she's probably never going to approach him directly. That's just not her style. If he wants a LTR, moving quickly can also backfire, because a woman looking for a LTR wants to get to know someone before going out. Validation from men doesn't need to be sexual. In fact, it could make a woman feel uncomfortable,…

See, people think this one is almost true in reality, and it's not. So it doesn't make a great analogy. Yes, you can look 100% more attractive in photos with makeup. Is it necessary to get laid or get LTRs? No. Few people are skilled at makeup, and many just never wear it. I used to wear it to look more alpha, but then realized it had little impact, and ain't nobody got time to do all that just to be more intimidating.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/16 02:12 PM
1

There's no need for an analogy. RP principles work equally well for women if the genders are reversed. I've successfully used RP ideas to coerce men. If they think it works, it's probably because it would work on them.

A more serious response: if you're not picky about how your first time is, then you're overthinking this. Go find some parties where people might be amenable to sex. That shouldn't be too hard, but you'll have to put yourself out there a little — which means you get to practice social skills, too. These people are also probably into weed and games, so you got that part down. Go to parties, get friendly with more sexual people. Get high together. Tell them you've never done it. You'll probably en…

Even in death, women hate weak low status men. Nah. They actually are a virgin. Don't many men think badly of women for sleeping with virgins because he must be gross if he's not pre-selected? This is what I hear. Idgaf, tho, cause I slept with a few and would again if I was single.

I knew a guy on the other side of that. He dumped his seriously ill gf who was in the hospital, then went out looking for sex. I couldn't abandon someone like that, but I get that shit is tough and some people can't deal, so they turn to vice.

I have literally never heard nor seen of a guy pining for a girl who can take him places or show him new things, etc. Because you don't date those kinds of males, but I have. The MPDG archtype exists for a reason. (But guys that want someone that "adventurous" are usually explosively intense and need escapism. Ones who just want to learn new things are fine.)

Self-improvement is becoming a better version of yourself (or should be), though. Not being yourself means actual deception, in my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/16 03:07 AM

"Be yourself" is just a long-term strategy. You can't do well being someone else for a LTR, nor are you likely to meet someone compatible for one. Not being yourself or building fantasy/mystery is more for ONS or other short relationships.

The joke is that the guys on the internet rating models 2/10 are often the result of sour grapes. Look at some of the wives of the richest, most powerful men who earned their wealth ("true alphas" if there is such a thing; NB these aren't sports players, musicians, or other commonly aspired to stereotypes). They probably have everything imaginable at their disposal, but still don't look like models or porn stars, because this isn't important to someone who doesn't make a living off of her looks.

Pretty sure I discovered TRP on Reddit by reading the fitness subs, but the ideas in it weren't new to me, only seeing them all in one place was. I thought TRP thinking wasn't uncommon for males. For people that find it "enlightening," I wonder: is it just confirming what you already thought? From my perspective, it's one of those moments where you ask if it was always in him.

"Chad" was preppy back when that was a thing. I first heard it used by older RP-leaning guys to refer derogatorily to jock/frat/prep guys in the 90s, so I'd guess that it goes back further. Probably became a stereotype in the 80s. Sounds like the villain of a skiing movie.

But America today is a matriarchy! /s Matriarchist here. Not a feminist, and tend to disagree with them, because they often approach gender relations like males are actually superior, despite what they say about Equality, womyn, etc. One example: I won't say things like, "I hate all men!" or (even jokingly) advocate for subjecting or objectifying them as an entire gender. This is very hurtful, and if males are actually equal or not as strong as women, why would you do that? I call feminists out …

My current partner is like 1" taller than me. Not a noticeable difference. I don't have a height preference, but usually end up with people who are about the same. The shortest male that I've dated was about 4" shorter. He claimed it wasn't an issue for him, and I thought it was nice. He did have insecurity toward other males that bothered me, though. The tallest was probably about 6" taller. I found that a little awkward, but I wouldn't reject a guy over height, because we can make it work. Edi…

Cleanliness. Really. I've mentally gone back over the guys that I dated and liked, and see nothing physical that all of them had in common, except that they took care of themselves and were neat. I've been attracted to guys that were taller, shorter, masculine, feminine, fatter, thinner, white, or mixed. I used to think I had a type, but experience and open-mindedness has shown me that different types all have their appeals.

I don't know what all these words were for, but okay. I'm pretty upfront about my beliefs other than some comedic wording (like, I mean to say that I'm not actually a feminist at all when I say I'm a bad one). I'm happy with my gender role of being dominant, and don't really expect anything from men except that they not get in my way. Hope you're happy, too! Merry Christmas.

I like shy and passive males. However, I'm a really bad feminist because I actually don't think that men are equal. This seems to be what some actually want when they come here and complain about gender roles and intrinsic value. They may not actually know what they want when they're emotionally posting. You can't put on a macho show of demanding respect and demeaning people and then expect that their hearts will melt for you. That's trying to eat your cake twice. You also can't ask for unneeded…

Not being a feminist, I have no wishes for them, and defending them isn't the hill that I'm going to die on. I only speak from having observed feminists from the inside. The noticeable contingent of people who are pro-sex-work and empowered exploitation in their ranks is one issue that I have with them. I support having protections for existing sex workers, but I don't want to actively encourage women to set up a pipeline for bringing more into their fold. Frankly, I think women should be doing …

Welcome to seeing that individuals who may be feminists (neither of those women is a well-known feminist scholar or leader) can differ from the general feminist thinking. It's a massive movement with many schools and pet issues. It's also not the military, where the org has to answer for or punish any one individual who disagrees with some directive. The number of sex workers who are feminists alone, not mentioning their allies, way out numbers two writers in tabloids (notice that these aren't e…

Considering that any sex worker I've met is a feminist activist that often brings up respect for sex work, I think that most feminists aren't against it. They've certainly let their ranks get infiltrated and controlled by the opposition if they are.

Haha, thanks. Tbh, talking about "Matriarchy" is mostly a confidence thing for me, because it helps me to outright dismiss the premise of men who are like, "Women are weaker until you prove to me otherwise." What do you propose that women can do to help men (by virtue of being women)? How does that differ from how a feminist might help men? I'm not talking about feminism as an academic discipline or movement much here, but I'll talk about the mistakes that I think individual feminists are making that causes them to be harsher to men than they should. This is an area where I think that some RPers have made similar observations (before RP theory goes off into fantasy land with their conclusions about …

Having known one of those guys and talking to other women who have known some (seems like there's always at least one in any community), it seems to be that they are known sex freaks who are unselfish lovers with no strings attached and they build a reputation for that. Is this a predatory or nefarious goal for this man to have? Of course not. This is a pretty normal pursuit for males, and it isn't inherently wrong. It may be wrong in individual cases where a girl or disabled individual is unable to give informed consent to a relationship, or where a woman doesn't wish to be romantically pursued. Finding out if it's the latter in an ethical way is a matter of asking her. Do you feel that it's predatory or nefarious for a woman to pursue a relationship with a ma…

After giving your argument some thought, it's alright, but it depends on if you want quantity over quality and genes over memes. I favor raising a daughter to be a future matriarch because of the quality issue. I know that her children will be hers, and that many of the memes that I pass down to her will be passed down to her children, and her daughter's children, and so on. Males talked shit about the female employees and tried to get them fired because they didn't want women there. Look at the legal reasons for marriage and see if they benefit you. Will you or your partner get tax breaks that save you money? Health or education benefits? Do you want your partner to care for you if you're sick? What about if you have children? Will one of you need a pre-nup? A lot of companies in blue states now give health benefits to live-in partners without marriage. are we living in some dystopian fantasy world where condoms don't exist? Condoms are super effective (~99%) in the absence of human error and tampering. They're cheap, there's many free sources of them, and they do everything they can to try to enhance the experience. I honestly don't get why anyone who worries about pregnancy/STIs doesn't use one all the time. Unless they're just totally ignorant about sex... It seems like intentional negligence to not wrap it.

There's always rape. If anybody wants consequence-free sex, they need to be prepared to pay for abortions. I'm not a feminist, but... shouldn't it be morally acceptable to force women who demonstrably cannot provide for a child in to having an abortion/using birthcontrol? If the government provided free and unfettered access to abortions and birth control for women and men, as well as removing the stigma attached to using these services, then a whole hell of a lot of these cases would take care of themselves. I used to be selfish (or at least thought that I was) and basically grew out of it by developing empathy and learning to see the viewpoints of others. It does attract males sexually. Read the comments on YouTube videos about respected women if you'd like some evidence. IME, I can't think of any high-achieving women that I know who are lacking sexual attention from males (whether they want it or not), and a lot of that does have to do with the respect and visibility that they receive in their careers. This is true even of women that I think don't deserve the respect, but I can't define what kinds of achievements that others will value. This stu…

Thank you for saying this. I've met my share of manly men who just do not want to be "alpha" and love when a woman will step up instead. I eventually learned to disregard what stereotypes say and trust what my experience and rational mind had been showing me: masculine nature is not inherently dominant, and not being able to express that is killing some guys.

Exactly, OP. It's almost as if men don't actually want housewives and instead want strong, self-reliant women! With a few exceptions of those who either don't really value their personal relationship and just want a mother to their children or a maid, or the guys who have a kink for dominance, most men don't want a woman who is just going to look after them. Yes, that is despite what they say, because they sometimes don't know that they want this, for whatever reason. It could be societal pressu…

Do you really think Redpill is big enough for a major newspaper to be clickbaiting them? I don't think that Redpill views are unique to Redpill or 100% new, unique, and original. I think they're views that have always been with a segment of our population that have been codified and turned into a movement thanks to the Internet. How else would there be stories about people who were "natural RP" because they were raised that way? Furthermore, Redpill is full of nerdy beta dudes who use adblockers…

...#NotAllMen I was asking if you did, as that seemed to be the implication of saying that gay men could still hate each other. I mean, yeah, you can be a self-hating homosexual, but generally being gay is about more than sex.

Bisexuality is more acceptable for women because it's generally seen as less threatening in society, definitely. I recommend it, but then, I've always been bi. As for writing a book... nah. It wouldn't work like that. It's generally not seen as a lifestyle that you can just jump into if you have no inclination for it, and the lgbt community certainly doesn't want to portray it that way. I just would encourage women to consider it if they never have before, as I suspect many older ones haven't du…

Feminism seems like a support/self-improvement movement for women. That's the closest thing I can think of to what you're talking about. There are many different schools of thought within it, though. It's old, vast, and segmented, having grown for much longer than something like TRP. Its not focused on a specific personal goal like "find a mate" or "find sex" as TRP seems to be (even when its touting self-improvement as a way to that), but more in a general direction of just uplifting women who …

I think that gay stigmatization/lesbian invisibility will go away over time. Some lesbians that I know are really, really quiet about their lifestyles (like, I didn't know they had a girlfriend until long after I met them). Definitely, they can't go out there saying, "Hey, why don't you consider us?" to the mainstream, because there's already so much shit about the "homosexual agenda" and "recruiting" and "corrupting" from the Christian/conservative right. Also, mainstream magazines aren't reall…

Agreed about it not being as big of a deal as they make it out to be. Your mom sounds like a great woman! I know there's sometimes a disconnect between what society tells us we should want (a rich guy to be our boss, hah!) versus what we actually want, and some take a while to own up to that. I always wanted a guy to be a homemaker, because that's what my dad was, but I had some misadventures with trying to let males lead for a while when I first started in the dating world, because that's what …

Since these self-reliant women obviously aren't lost without a relationship with a male, I feel less sorry for them. Males shouldn't be lost, either, but they frequently seem to be, as they build their lives around getting a mate from an early age. As someone else noted in a comment, the males spend all that time trying, whereas the women don't think about settling down with a family until the rest of their life is established. Seems like the girls made the more responsible choice, although ther…

Gay men can't hate other men, or they wouldn't be gay. Their mentality (and perhaps even biology) is different than straight males. Do you perhaps look at love as conquest and not as being about personal relationships, and so you think that gay men also treat other males as a conquest?

Might be true for some/most but another reason (at least for me) might be that they get frustrated at the fact that women have it easy when it comes to dating and having partners. And I feel envy towards women and then that envy turns into hate. Fair enough. Thanks for your honesty on that point. I don't think that it's necessarily true that even the majority of women have an easy time, but I can see the male POV with that and how it would influence their thinking. But the red pill was actually …

I don't think misogyny is real. Males aren't capable of hating women. At most, they have misdirected self-hate and insecurity toward others. Sadly, a lot of males just seem to hate each other, and I think this is evident in some RP rhetoric. Particularly anxiety over a woman's partner count. They hate the idea of another male having had this woman, because they hate other males. Notice how partner count anxiety is absent from lesbian and gay culture, and less prevalent in women in general. Those…

I would like to argue against this, but looking at it from the male perspective, I can't! This is really how males feel (unless they're gay, bi, NB, etc.). They need women, and they need a woman's attention. This means more to them than most other things that should be important, and they will do nearly anything for it, until they get spurned and damaged. That's the pattern that I see being acted out here, again and again. OP's post just shows how large this need looms in their brains. I'm not s…

Sometimes people ask me about feminism because they see me as a strong woman, and I say look, I'm not a feminist and can't really help with that. Being a feminist is not the same as being a proud woman or a matriarchist (what I consider myself), and you can't be a feminist and a matriarchist. Once feminists get to know me, they generally don't like or agree with me. So, I'll give my opinion on them, but I don't speak for them. I don't know how many women agree with my viewpoint because it's one …

So, a few 10/10 males are having sex with all the women who aren't big? While the others aren't even seen at all by any women? That's pretty impressive. I doubt that all swingers are fat or muscular (whatever you define as not thin), whether they're males or women. IME as an outsider, they seem to get a variety of appearances. But hey, I think that men can be attractive at any size, so I may just have a totally different mindset. It sounds like you may have a bit of a chip on your shoulder about…

Ohh, so as RP you actually define feminism as BP? Thanks for clearing that up. Is that a commonly held opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/15 11:25 PM

OT, I love that image in your flair. I love that RPers equate feminism with matriarchy, because they don't get the difference. That's what I'm here for. :)

If it's natural for a woman to have a child with a male and then leave him to go create genetic diversity with other males, would you also say that it's natural for her to leave the previous progeny with the previous partner? I ask this in light of a common view I see around RP forums about how males don't want to raise someone else's child. If that and your idea about a woman's biological urges are both true, then the other point kind of fits.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/15 04:31 AM

Well, the answer is because BP isn't a movement. I know RPers often see it as an opposing side, but it's not. It's just anyone who isn't RP. It's like saying that anyone who isn't for something is against it, when really, the majority of people don't have an opinion.

I've lived with a man for several years, and he has lots of positive qualities. He's a talented polymath, and he understands and appreciates that I am as well. I like to help him feel good about himself and to help him realize that he's special and should have confidence in himself. I like to see him do the things he wants to in life, and try to facilitate that where I can. That's a specific man, though. What do I like about men in general? That's harder to say, because they're rather diverse (p…

Interesting. This is also known as "No True Scotsman" in case you haven't heard of that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_true_Scotsman Basically, they're asserting that no real RPer would say x y z that disagrees with their views, but the counterpoint is that this person certainly looks and acts like a RPer, so how can they be excluded?

I think that I'm special. I'd say I have a much higher level of self-respect than most of my friends (by their own admission), in fact. However, this doesn't mean that I want to spend my time trying to bed a movie star. I just have better things to get on with in life, and there are other people who are special and confident for reasons other than how much they resemble a super model (is that SMV? idk) and who make fantastic companions and sexual partners for that reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/15 11:53 PM

Idk what SMV is (sexual market value?), but I do somewhat agree that people who complain about lack of sex are looking for a unicorn that's hard for anyone to find, usually. They want young, handsome, virginal, and monogamous. If they were willing to go to swinger's clubs, orgies, etc., they could have as much sex as they could stand with partners of a variety of appearances. They don't, because they don't actually want sex. They want to own a unicorn.
