Ugh so true. The last guy I dated had me fooled too because I 'knew' him (was in the friendship circle) for years, he was a good dad to a young adult female, posted all the feminist memes on social media and loved his dog. I really hate that because you are a black woman you can never be angry without that stereotype. Last time I checked we were all humans and humans come with a spectrum of emotions. I don't think it's fair that you don't feel 'allowed' to correct someone in person or otherwise. That is just straight up garbage. Sorry for the mini-rant but I HATE that stereotype or the thought of that stereotype silencing my strong black sisters.
