Personally, i stay in shape because i did not enjoy being overweight. I do understand where you are coming from however you should think about your long term future. Personally i would like to be alive past 50 possibly 60 so i do my best to stay healthy. Another big thing is you should not worry about what others think, it causes unnecessary stress that i know you dont want.
