I don't know about Canada, but considering that significantly more women in UK have a negative view of men, and men have a positive view of women, maybe they should teach the opposite there.

Yes, but even gemini.com (Which has a bit more critical "thinking"), is still biased against men. I once asked it what the primary causes of male homicide are, and it threw me a fun fact (because it had to) "Most of the femicides are perpetuated by men". It defended MGM, as being "not as harmful as FGM", even though I only asked why people don't talk about it.

They literally say that about boys as well. It's misandry.

Lol, I was merely adding to your point. My point was that there are plenty of dudes who will says shit like, "as a man <insert misandric trope>". Men with internalized misandry aren't any better than misandric women (if not worse). Also, emasculating men you disagree with, by calling them "cucK" for example, is how the right wing grifters took over men's spaces. Do better.

Nowhere else in our timeline would people actively talk about how miserable their love-life is with a smug condescending tone.

Asking women to stop being entitled is not misogyny. Hating men, however, is misandry. I don't think it was both.

Misogyny is when you dislike astrology and it's unscientific premises. We should all be misogynists <3

"Patriarchy" as it appears from how they perceive it, doesn't sound like anything more than a dumbass conspiracy theory. It is the Illuminati of misandrists. An overarching figure that will grasp every human being that walks on earth - and they will never know it, nor will be able to do anything about it. ScAry pAtrIarcHy coRrUpt All bOy. TheTinMen once said he feels embarrassed when adults use the term "patriarchy", and I totally get what he means.

No, MAGA hating feminism doesn't necessarily mean feminsim haters are MAGA. This is called "Fallacy of Affirming the Consequent". Although to be real with you, in an argument, it's better not to use big words, instead just use an example that mirrors their flawed logic, "Oh you are an anti-zionist? You must also be antisemitic!"

Unfortunately culturally we are already past it. I think the term femcel has more leverage in this context.

I have never heard "happens to men too" as a response women mentioning sexual assault. Maybe men say it when people claim or imply it's a women exclusive thing - then it's more than reasonable. Men self-report suicide attempts or suicidal thoughts much less, and for many there is no one to listen, or they fear their experiences will be invalidated. Furthermore, in states of severe suicidal crisis, people experience profound cognitive constriction, which makes them incapable of processing the lon…

Where in the reply does it promote misandry? I don't know if it is intentional or not, op, but you seem to imply only men can commit sex crimes.

While I agree with your sentiment of leftists expressing misandry with bravado, I don't think the other side is any less sexist. They are the most likely to shame men for their masculinity: not being "masculine" enough, that is. Most likely to see men as someone inherently predatory: the recent misandrist comments against men who feel paternalistic were primarily from the right (Form what I could see). Most likely to be homophobic towards gay men. Most likely to exploit young men for their own p…

Also, reminder: in most genocide and ethnic cleansing, men and boys are often the primary targets of mass killing. But of course, "Misandry doesn't kill", so those are probably alt-right propaganda.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/04/26 10:52 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
