That's an entire thing already. TERFs ( see: JK Rowling) are trans exclusionary radical feminists

Lol the roles are reversed, there are groups of men that post women online too...their group is still up. People are shitty. That's just life

true, but as a teenager when I did exactly this, we didn't know we were bad haha importantly, we communicated to make sure we were both comfortable

the only way that this isn't reductive and dehumanizing is if you are a virgin and want to lose your virginity with someone who is also a virgin for some reason. otherwise you are prescribing a value to something that doesn't matter. it shows a trait that you might be controlling and kinda weird. I used to think it mattered when I was 17 lol, but I grew up. you should too. to be clear, having a preference to avoid permiscious women is not the same thing as your stance. that is a valid preference…

Seriously. I am of the apparently rare opinion that men and women both suffer at the hands of archaic social norms. Every time I get into it with one side or the other they argue like it's a zero sum game. If I'm suffering the other side has an advantage and vice versa. The secret is that we are all suffering...and we can all make progress together if we could stop getting defensive about the other sex's legitimate issues when they voice them.

Right? Wife bad. Sex feel good. This shit is harmful to the movement and provides ammunition to people who we want to debate with. They come here and see this toxic shit fest and assume men's rights is just about sexism and oppression and Patriachry or whatever the fuck and then no one will listen when you try to talk about the unnoticed damage that society inflicts on men. No one cares about any of the research backed numbers outlining what men suffer through just for being men. It's impossible…

Dood I've been telling my girlfriend that ad is fucked up since it first came out. I'm glad someone else out there sees it as completely sexist

That must hard, i admit. I don't think I'm contradicting myself by agreeing with you, though. I think its a very different think for a child to be removed from their family vs being an adult and choosing not to have a biological child.
/r/MensRights31/12/21 05:41 PM

thats such a better way. having a genetic child is selfish. making a person exist and in the world they will inherit as an adult.... if you want kids give some children that already exist a loving home.

gotcha, but still lol i wont ever have any kids unless i get hella bored later in life and adopt

That is the opposite of how squad labeling works, not that I disagree with you... but that conclusion doesn't really follow from this story, logically speaking.

Im sure the uswnt wasn't playing all their starters all out but the fact that u15 league academy competes with a uswnt b squad speaks volumes to the performance differences in top athletes across sexes

Thats nice to know, at least it's equal, they don't seem to want what they feel are extremist views from each side... Which is silly to assume that because someone subs to a men's or women's rights reddit that they are extremists, but that's where we are today.

Yeah idk whats going on with this place. I appreciate it. I hate seeing people on either side of the divide act like this. It does nothing to bring people together. To pm on reddit is fun, click on a comment made by the person who you want to pm. Then click the 3 dot button that pops up to see more options. Click the one that says Username's prpfile. From there you should be able to pm them by clicking the envelope in the top right

No, im not doing that. I PERFECTLY UNDERSTAND what he was refering to. If you understood my post you would know that I wasn't questioning what he meant when he replied. Lets pretend op's word is gospel on this story and everything went exactly as he said. I am suggesting that THE GIRL who asked the question was not understanding that he was only refering to monetary value. Given the fucking CONTEXT that she asked such a question to begin with after a clear explanatiom from op. (ironic that im th…

Lol, thats a nice strawman, how about you refute something i said? Demonstrate that i am wrong? State your view of the situation? Any of that? There is no debate here, just redirect and condemn. Its MAGA tactics. Be better than that.

So much for civil discourse. Maybe you should read my post... Broadening a discussion would be contextually appropriate in the face of this guys claims and in the context of the conversation, is something totally reasonable and possible.

I dont think its obvious at all. she could've been trying to broaden the scope of the discussion and been talking about herself as a person and not in terms of what kind of viewership revenue she can pull down for an organization as an athlete as a means to find out how far his opinion on women goes. Its not like everyone else will immediately understand a nuanced position from one comment he makes in class. His answer was dickish and provoking a response like getting kicked out of class.

It sounds like their INTENT is to come across as superior, the same way you refer to a puppy as cute when it sees itself in a mirror and barks at it, and sugarcoat it so calling them out makes you look like a bad guy. Its annoying.

Seriously. Does she really believe the majority of guys are the ones into those fetishes lol She probably couldn't wear them quick enough to sell them at 16% response. Maybe she does know this but is trying to mislead people that see it and now will sell them lol

Why? They aren't being literal lol They are trying to express via metaphor what her action of leaving is going to say to him and others that know.

Do we have a study somewhere to back this up? I have heard much smaller numbers than this. The largest of which was 19%. Is there some sort of extrapolation of data that is reliable since a lot of men don't report abuse against them?

unfortunately the way an argument is evaluated isn't always (or even hardly) rational. I'm not sure if you are disagreeing or just adding on, but I am pretty sure he understands your point here. But he is saying that generally a lot of people will be influenced by the presenter of the counter argument and it really does help that he shares a background of one of the groups she cites in her statistics.
