Are your female colleagues married? Edit: to your first paragraph - absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to date other working professionals. But most youngish working professionals don’t make a minimum of low six-figures. They make close, but that’s not up to her standards according to her.

I don’t think people on here know the actual numbers. I don’t mean to be hostile or anything, but based off statistics (being that 10-15% of all men - gay, straight, single, or married) make at least 6 figures. I’m on the younger side but at least from what I’ve seen the dating to marry age range is most common between the ages of 25-35. The amount of straight single men looking to date between those ages making that kind of money is astronomically low. Add in everything else, and you’re probabl…

Because only about 10-15% of U.S. men make over 6 figures. Married, single, gay, straight, all of them. What I’m getting at is your last paragraph. I don’t think many people here understand how little of the male population actually makes that much money, let alone men between the ages of 25-35 aka what most consider to be “marrying age”.
