I've found that cute had in the past (and sometimes now) been a detriment in that the group I'd attract felt more confident in pushing the physical boundary barrier with the assumption that cute = childlike/vulnerable. Choosing my own partner ended up being the way to go honestly, even though being the pursuer doesn't really fall very much in line with RPW courting it definitely helped out a ton! The benefit of cuteness is that my partner feels more obligated to 'protect his territory' which I l…

Every relationship is different, and for the most part 'helplessness' should never be forced. What it really means is to allow yourself to accept help when struggling with a task when it's offered if you're particularly stubborn and more inclined to rebuff assistance. I've noticed as well though that some posters treat it as 'you must be a delicate waif' which is far too romanticized and disengaged from the reality of relationships: No HVM will be reliant on you being unable to complete simple t…

Guess I'll start this train then! Yesterday I made a promise to quit smoking the ol' mary jane, and successfully went without while my partner smoked next to me. The urge is the strongest during this downright miserable Covid/winter mix, but even one day I'll chalk up as a victory when the green temptress tries to snake it's way into my lungs, haha~ The benefits are pretty immediate as well; waking up easy in the morning on a set routine rather than snoozing another half hour is ideal and leads …

You willfully had an affair with a married man and have the gall to judge other women based on tattoo ink? Your attitude and judgement calls are what would make you LV no matter how physically attractive you make yourself out to be. Distancing yourself from adultery and developing a more respectful attitude towards others would help you the most. The 'average woman' is so impossibly subjective a term that it doesn't mean much at all; every woman has something special about her that makes them st…

This is where I usually 'guesstimate' the amount by looking up a standard biscuits' calories and give it maybe 50 more cals than it says. With gravy I'd do the same as well, just skew it slightly above what you see in the guesstimate lookup. For a standard biscuits and gravy it looks to be about 540-600 calories. Eat half and save the rest for later to portion out; you can do this with the fried rice as well. Even if the food isn't necessarily healthy, it's still possible to stick to CICO with e…

For biscuits try to portion it out if they're higher calorie. Have you looked up how many cals each serving is? Planning around that will be a bit tough but doable if you've got a good approximation, and if it's still on the high side then just eat three quarters or a half of the meal to save room for lunch. (I'm not one to throw out food either, but in this case it'll be for your benefit in order to keep everything in check without completely skipping a meal). Body image and body confidence is …

On a day where you aren't frustrated or in an elevated state, gently infer that you want to talk about some things that have been bothering you lately and exercise some good ol' feminine charm and tact. Remember to praise him for his efforts, but don't stray too far from the topic at hand. It's okay if his ego is dampened a bit; this is something that needs to be addressed before resentment turns into a full blown argument.

Hair growing back thicker is fortunately a myth, and it always comes back just as soft and light as its always been! I would shave it at least once or twice a week depending on the growth (my facial hair is about a quarter inch long and grows somewhat quick) but I know some do it every other day. It's all based on preference in the end.

I recently got into shaving my peach fuzz away, and man it makes a world of a difference when taking photos. Peach fuzz tends to distort all forms of lighting and gets in the way of accentuating your facial structure (especially with foundation) so I'm all for it. Make sure to set aside a clean razor specifically for your face and go with the hair flow, not against. I'm also guilty of using my partners' aftershave, but damn does it work wonders preventing in grown hair.

I would state your concerns just as succinctly as you did here, if anything he'll appreciate the honestly even if it causes some amount of discomfort. A sudden baby and mother in the mix definitely puts a substantial amount of his attention and care for you on the backburner at least until the child is old enough to care for themselves, so anticipate quite a few days mostly alone or without being able to make plans freely. (The way this woman came out of the woodwork is also a bad sign that ther…

I am thankful for being able to hold constructive arguments between myself and my partner without it leading to resentment or frustration, as we had a rough one just recently that was resolved without any longstanding issues. I am thankful for the steps in my own personal growth regarding mental and physical health (steady weight loss goals reached; building an even stronger mental fortitude by knowing my own limits and curbing unrealistic expectations). Lastly, I am thankful for this community!…

This man is taking advantage of your emotions and lack of self worth. You can love and love and LOVE a man with all your heart and soul, but that will not make him love you back in the same way. A valuable man does not flirt with other woman in his partners' prescence. He does NOT make his woman do 'push-ups' as a punishment. He most certainly will NEVER see relationships with women as 'business', ESPECIALLY HIS OWN PARTNER. If you remain with him, he will continue to see other women as he pleas…

What you NEED is therapy for your terrible body dysmorphia, holy shit wanting to off yourself for having a little more excess fat is EXTREMELY disconcerting. I'm not mentally ill Okay sure, because wanting to kill yourself is absolutely, 100% what a sane and rational person would do when they gain some weight, right? NO. You have detrimental body image issues that absolutely coincide with severe bodily dysmorphia, and your insistence that the weight alone is your problem is bull. Your problem is…

You're putting too much stock into SMV and the absurd 1-10 attractiveness scale. People, including men, are far more turned off by insecurities than looks alone (and you look perfectly dateable in all your pictures) so fussing about one flaw in the way you're doing is more than likely the biggest detriment. How I know is from real world experiences of days when I'm secure versus days I'm not when it comes to male interaction at work. When secure, I subconsciously give off an air of approachabili…

My best advice would be to take it easy on yourself. Between winter and the constant quarantine, you're doing what you can and already know where the problem arises from. Is there any chance to text your friends about how you're feeling in a slump? They might be able to help pull you through it/they might be going through something similar.

All year round? How often do you normally go out and about with friends when you do? Either you need more time to recharge between hangouts, or there's a different mental obstacle hindering you.

Do you happen to get less sociable and more into solo hobbies/chillouts at this time of year? Asking because I've got Seasonal Affective Disorder, and the lack of energy to engage with others is at it's worst during the transitionary period between Autumn and Winter.

This is all still a part of his game. Never return to a man willing to abandon his family. STICK TO YOUR CONVICTIONS! Also for the love of god, cut him off entirely or his manipulative behavior will continue, he's only telling you what you want to hear and the whole situation with his wife could (and probably is) completely different.

I would be ecstatic, it means you get to introduce him to new techniques over time and he'll be able to bond with you emotionally during sex easier. For me, I've only had two sexual relationships whereas my partner had far more. He gets to show me new moves and also reap the benefits of having a way more excited and less guarded partner, which I assume would apply vice-versa.

I was having an internal dilemma with my partner outright telling me he isn't interested in some of my favorite hobbies which I'd never encountered before and found a link to this sub! Needless to say, it has made me appreciate him far more that he isn't a 'yes-man' and is honest about the things he's interested in hearing rather than letting me ramble on only to tune me out eventually. (I do the same to him now though, he's into Romantic Comedies/Dramas and I'm into Horror/Psychological Thrille…

This.. was probably the most well thought and comprehensive reply I could have ever hoped for, and for that I thank you. I probably should have prefaced that a great deal of 'hallmark behaviors' I used to have were for the most part managed prior to meeting my current partner, though now I realize that more than likely I conquered the disorder altogether when for the longest time I was under the impression it was only put 'at bay'. More than likely I also put far too much stock in what the disor…

That is not Red Pill, that is a MGTOW mindset. I don't know how he managed to convince you that this in any way was a Red Pilled relationship when in fact he is only using you to satisfy his desires. Red Pill men seek marriage, are committed to only their partner, and if in a more traditional framework seek to be the breadwinner and 'Captain' of the home with the wife caring for the children and tending to domestic neccessities. The man you are with does not care about you. He seeks to be free o…

No marriage? How long have you been together? If he's truly Red Pilled he should be actively seeking an engagement, not telling you to wait 25 years until student debt (which is paid off in INCREMENTS) is paid off. Also regarding your appearance, did you ask him out or vice versa? This strikes me as very odd for him to be demanding these things of you when he's essentially telling you he won't commit.

All of my experiences with other women were abusive, whether it be physical, emotional, and most unfortunately sexual. Other ladies have also tended to see me as 'competition' for male attention (most unfortunately my own mother felt this way regarding her partners) when all I do is be kind, witty and inclusive (I still very much carry tomboy tendencies when with the guys, that's always been a thing) to which surprise! It just so happens being actively friendly and genuine with everyone is somet…

He's having his cake and eating it too. A married man will NEVER leave a stable family life that he created for you, just a cute young thing on the side with nowhere near his level of life experience. Break this off and save yourself the trouble, or better yet tell his wife and THEN proceed to cut all contact. Regardless of your feelings this is all morally unjustifiable and entirely unsustainable longterm, you intrinsically must know this.

Your friend has some serious misconceptions about alcohol and how it affects people. It typically amplifies whatever emotion we're feeling at the time, and in just about as many cases as it makes people more lovey dovey it can make people more adventurous, combative, depressed, relaxed etc. My own partner gets absorbed in his hobbies/is adventurous with friends when drunk for the most part, which is very much like him in the usual day to day while I get touchy feely and far more sociable. If dru…

His actions and behaviors are the very things that will not enrich your life, and as such should be pruned like a weed in the garden. You are free of him even if you do not see it that way, and the final step would be to block all communications with him to continue your journey of self-discovery and acceptance. Your mentioning of being trauma bonded is true, however do not focus on the label of trauma bonding and instead begin to center your efforts on HEALING the mental and emotional injury in…

It was about a week in and needless to say I barely knew him enough to think more than 'oh, I like him so far' and kinda set an expectation of reciprocation too early for me to be comfortable with.

As a BDSM couple the dynamic makes perfect sense (who doesn't want to be dominated by an older, more experienced man?) But considering the relationship started off with a pre-established sexual dynamic, there's a possibility that your sexual compatability may have become confusingly meshed into a more emotional/romantic one, which requires far more checkboxes to list off that perhaps he nor yourself were prepared for. Sit down with him and begin having the serious conversation of what you both w…

Unfortunately this is where your age gap will cause some issues. Men towards the middle of their lives usually have little patience for situations like this. In his mind, the only thing he could really say (especially over text) would be "well, don't" as the most succinct and obvious answer to maybe solidify where you were hesitating. In person you may recieve a slightly more detailed answer, but I wouldn't expect much else. On that note, what do you both have in common? My skepticism goggles ar…

Respectable, high value men will care more about your personality than how thin you are. From some posts above, you're well in both a healthy weight range and have admirable body features, so the problems might lie in how little you have men wait before allowing them to indulge. The ones who hold out and don't pressure sexual contact are usually keepers who are in it for the long term and look more for a genuine mental connection than physical.

This really is a difficult decision. There seems to be as much of a chance he can change and grow with your guidance as there is finding a man who will be a more dominant partner without restricting you too much. Try to envision him in a more masculine light, would you then be romantically attracted to him? If so, then maybe put more of an idea towards marriage. I feel your parents may have chosen him specifically because they know there wouldn't be a high risk of you getting hurt by him, and if…

If you've actually been given the choice to choose, then I'm glad you have the option. As long as you can properly vet a protective but high value man, it'll be better than staying with one that you have no romantic feelings for. Better for both of you in the long run!

Can you not point out to your family this mans' shortcomings? An arranged marriage should be with a man who embodies masculinity and leadership qualities. Could you explain to them that he wants you to abandon the feminine qualities that make you a woman and also become a manager 'aka leader' in the relationship? I'm so sorry you're being set up with someone who won't take proper responsibility. On that note, what do your parents like about him that brought forth an agreement to engage you to hi…

Read your first paragraph again, and you'll see all the reasons that made enough sense to break up the first time. It's a known fact that break-ups hurt in all sorts of ways both physically and emotionally that might make you want to go 'back to normal' to alleviate those pains, but doing so will more often than not only cause more complications in the future, as those problems you addressed initially only compound themselves when coupled with willful ignorance to 'maintain the normal'. Disconne…

I have my own reservations on porn, but came to the conclusion that just because I don't watch it doesn't mean I need to restrict my partners' access to it(unless it became a full blown addiction). It's more adjusting to the fact that even back then men always had some sort of pornographic material, it's just far more accessible and mainstream now.

I am currently in a relationship with someone who has experienced similar dysfunction though leagues worse than my own. You need to seek out a partner who is willing to work on themselves regarding relationships and the self as much as you are, and preferably has already showed progress when getting to know them/while dating them. My partner had four years of being alone to figure himself out and what he wants in life, along with heavy introspection into his own insecurities and bad habits he ne…

-Emotional Maturity Is capable of handling times of stress with grace and is able to work through it collaboratively or solo without easily cracking under pressure. -Cleanliness Grooms and tends to ones' appearance with care as well as their surroundings. Generally well kempt without appearing 'sterile'. (Sterile meaning 'don't touch anything' and more compulsive, non-negotiable behaviors that are more in line with anxious OCD than general cleanliness.) -Sense of Self Identity Knows who they are…

That behavior is not tolerable in the least, and with his willingness to stay petty and outright cruel in front of everyone even though she is an ex with the added undermining of your future plans should make you highly reconsider his actual value. This should serve as a warning that he may one day be just as comfortable trying to humiliate YOU in the same fashion, undermining your achievements and your person simply because he feels slighted or held onto a previous arguement you both had. If put together mentally and financially, then I personally wouldn't have a problem dating someone younger than myself. If anything it's kind of flattering! Just be aware that women in their thirties typically have more settled priorities as most individuals in their thirties upwards have a firmer grasp on what they want.

Regardless of his orientation, the marriage as it is now is over due to continued infidelity. I would listen to your therapist in terms of re-entering the work force, and plan for the inevitable divorce. If your situation has the capacity to become violent if he were made aware of you leaving, either solicit friends to assist you in moving to a safer place or quietly contact a local womans' shelter to check for space and an escape plan (hopefully you do not have to do this). A job should be your…

This is ridiculous advice. Love alone isn't going to keep the children fed, the bills paid and a roof over your head, especially when intending to become a stay at home mother. Only money can ensure a stable, secure life, especially when planning for a traditional lifestyle. This isn't meant to say that love isn't an important factor, in fact it is equally as important as the ability to provide for ones' partner. A man who provides love but no security is just as bad as a man who provides securi…
