I would ask him to either find a male study partner or simply study by himself. You can also quiz him, with answers in hand, and you can help him have more study time at home by preparing his meals and cleaning and doing the shopping. You can also help him by researching relaxation messages for the head and hands and back for example. Whatever he needs from you which you are capable of doing, short of letting him spend an inordinate amount of alone time with an attractive woman whose personality…

edit* to add that it is only logical that if a man is helping his wife get over some situation when she cried and he is successful in providing assistance, and he feels appreciated for what he did, that will most certainly raise his testosterone and potentially get him to become aroused

I recommend reading John Gray's "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" and the newer "Beyond Mars and Venus". There are many other books he published which go into specific situations where the differences between men and women are relevant (raising kids, work, bedroom, conflicts). Look him up and keep an open mind. He helped me immensely.

Men are happy when they get clear ideas or how to please / provide something of value to their lady so anything we can do to not confuse them, they appreciate. In my experience and having read a lot on the subject, they don't think in terms of "have to do something" when it comes to celebrating an occasion. As long as what would make their lady happy is something they can afford and have time for, knowing they will get the result they aim for (happy companion) is all the motivation they need.

I understand your instinct to take the initiative, in part, to make it more likely that you two will spend a really romantic time together, as you envision it. However, unless you being in charge in such matters is something he has previously expressed a desire for, I advise against it. My suggestion is to let him know 2 or 3 things you would be happy with and allow him to chose (and book / organize), so that he is ultimately the one who provides you with the gift / experience you wish and you c…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
