It might be somewhat rare, not sure of the exact statistics, but I have personally known more than one woman (one of who was a medical professional) who has gotten pregnant while taking birth control properly. A ratio will not change neccesarily (if a person is 115 or 200 they could still technically have the same ratio). I think that its a low waist to high hip ratio (I'm 120 and my waist is much smaller than my hips).
