5	David Leyonhjelm is dead on the money I agree, it's certainly a good thing that someone is pushing back against the misandry that's really only just starting to rear it's head in Australian politics. It's unfortunate that DL is the only one to do so — he's a nasty piece of work, and the way he's going about it has a good chance of backfiring. From an ABC article: Claiming — without a shred of factual support — that he had interpreted Senator Sarah Hanson-Young as having said words to the effect of "all men are rapists" Why on earth does he need a "shred of factual support"? Even if he did have it, what difference would it make? Seriously, the topic of discussion was whether laws should be relaxed to allow women to carry weapons (mace, tasers) for self defence [against men]. That doesn't answer my question. Also, which comments on TV and radio are you referring to, specifically? All I can find is DL refusing to apologise, and a Sky News producer having been suspended over the interview (which is absurd).
