We had a compulsory module on feminist jurisprudence (focusing predominantly on rape) as part of our jurisprudence paper and although I was a bit apprehensive about some of the readings, when the lecturer explained them I found that it wasn't that unreasonable and I found myself agreeing most of the time - historically, a lot of the assumptions in the law of rape were truly awful for rape victims.
