I'm sorry, women can rape men from time to time, but men are the majority when it comes to perpetrating violent sexual crimes. Men are generally more aggressive, stronger, and have the penetrative sexual organ that makes most rapes possible. While I myself disapprove of these ads, I think most of you are just full of shit when you try to say they are dishonest, or "out to get men".

I see a large amount of comments down voted because they are ignorantly pro-men or anti-women when it's not called for, are you thinking of those?

All I know is that no TRUE man would say no to sex, consensual or not.

I'll supply any high-fives needed for the "victims".

That leaves the other 80% for men, pretty terrible odds you got there.

People like that girl's mother are the reason God doesn't talk to us anymore.

It's a matter of professionalism and uniformity, you're expected to put up with it because of whatever position you're in. People make judgments about you based on your clothing, if you're wearing casual you will be viewed in a negative light.

Forensics is the only thing i can think of, but I somehow doubt they are supposed to sit around and look at the CP for that long >_>

It kinda seems like his options were A) do nothing B) violence What other options would have had any impact? There might be some, but I certainly can't think of any.

You people are all taking what I said too far, I was commenting on the sarcastic remark firepunk made about how women can't be sexual predators. Well, in this case women ARE less likely to be predators.

The man in the article was hanging around a playground giving candy to children, that is suspicious behavior for a grown man, and even a stereotype of the child molester type. Your anecdote has an Arabic man looking suspicious in a very vague manner.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, trying to respond to someone else at the same time. That's what I mean, comparing the number of sexual crimes with minors committed by women to the number committed by men. And while you may have a point about women getting off easier, which I'm not disagreeing with, that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm a little confused here, I'm trying to say that statistics show that men have committed more crimes related to pedophilia than women, what are you trying to say?

You are taking it to an extreme, and being sarcastic.

If you counted all the cases where there was molestation by women but it wasn't considered pedophilia it still wouldn't hold a candle to the number of men who commit sexual crimes. This is an unpleasant truth, but I would ask you to prove me wrong.

Yes, depending on how you use that information. The insurance companies do it all the time, if you're married you get a discount usually, because you are less likely to be taking risks. I didn't say this information should be used to infringe on a person's liberty to move about freely though, did I? Profiling can be useful, don't say it's evil just because it has the potential for misuse.

Are you trying to tell me that women are just as likely to be pedophiles, but that they aren't caught as much? The number of male offenses is too much larger for that to be a possibility.

I'm not saying anyone should be kept from the playground. I'm saying don't try and make it sound like women are just as likely to be sexual predators in this case. I'm not suggesting you infringe on anyone's freedom, just that you don't cry about what the statistics clearly show...

Honestly.. Women are statistically less of a threat as sexual predators, it may be sexist, but it's not wrong. Also, I am a white male, not an overly concerned woman.

Why is this in men's rights, I get that normally you're all pointing fingers at women who get off from crimes easy, but this doesn't seem to have that much to do with gender...

>Pet peeve. >Legitimate social concern. It's really too frequent of an occurrence to ignore, and like it or not, media seriously affects most people's perception of the world... Even shitty sitcoms.

This would be the logical thing, but in an office setting I can see where you would want to be extra careful as a man, what if he says no to her and she gets offended and claims she wasn't interested in the first place, then claims HE is harassing her. This sounds far fetched, but it wouldn't surprise me if this happened in todays society. MEN BAD, WOMEN GOOD.
/r/MensRights03/03/10 12:43 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
