Sounds like you gotta do a lot of deep work man. You got some conflicting beliefs. Sounds like needed integration. Be curious and compassionate and try to think of the voice that is shaming you… it’s ok to be human! To be imperfect. You had a good time. But focus on the learnings. Don’t shame yourself, focus on the real you now. People who don’t love themselves change. People who do evolve. It sounds like your psyche just trying to reconcile your ego identity.

Honestly I think sometimes it’s cos you’re a lion that thinks you’re a mouse. There’s cognitive dissonance because most people aren’t aligned with their nature due to the matrix. Be the real you. Then it wont matter. A lion moves on to the lionesses. The journey to embolus the lion is the real work

You don’t really know what people are dealing with under the surface. People will do anything to avoid looking at their own souls. Just focus on seeing yourself clearly. Being present for yourself so you can see him clearly. For all you know it’s going so well he’s self sabotaging. Or he’s off with someone else cos his ego has gone rampant. You can’t know. Surrender to it. Figure out what you want. Communicate it. Build your own heaven and if he’s ok with himself and wants to level up to he will…

Just BE you. You’ll drive yourself crazy worrying about this kind of thing. Be assertive and unapologetic if you genuinely love your life. If you dont’t, be assertive in your ambitions to change that

Wow very open and honest and self aware. Have you considered journalling and reflecting with AI btw? Give yourself plaudits man. You’ve come so far. Celebrate that fucking growth. It is internal stuff. I’m jealous of you! I’m in a place where I’m living at home with parents and no job but it’s inspiring to see you write this bro. Embrace the hero’s journey man. You are your own permission slip. Be there for yourself. You’re aware enough to know you’re triggered when left on red. It’s probably be…

Just make sure you mean it and detach. Let things flow. Easier said then done. Buy it could turn around. You don’t know. Take the win that she was even interested for a long while.

Worst part is beating yourself up for mistakes like that. Realise it’s part of the journey and let go. Maybe try and connect on social media and just concentrate on you being you. Were you authentic when you said that? Just own it and realise you don’t really know her and she doesn’t know you either. No big deal either way

Be there for yourself first imo Solid relationship with the self. Recognise your own agency, self belief and love for yourself and others and cultivate it. Look into your soul. Embrace the hero’s journey. Let go of ever becoming Casanova and just be unapologetically you. The universe will keep testing us inviting us to become the people we were always meant to be

I could see that. It doesn’t feel like that to me in the moment but maybe I need help discerning the difference in the moment.

This speaks to me. The women I’ve liked have often given me interest but when I turn try to pursue them it ends up breaking off or fizzling out

Feel the same. Think it’s all linked to self love which is key. I’m looking to get into the best shape of my life this summer

I’m similar and I’m working on me. Always go for yourself first. If it’s an issue for you, it will be an issue for any partner

I tried it once with a beautifully penned letter. Initial positive response followed by nasty cruel bitter follow-up when I responded. Never again. Go all in on yourself. Seduce yourself first. Someone acts off and doesn’t give you a good reason why, tell them politely to leave you alone until they sort themselves out. Know thyself

So true. Guess maybe if they trigger things in you to act this way it’s not great, but we gotta be our best selves and manage to control the emotions better. We all got trauma. Still not over the way she ended things but determined not to ever find myself in that position again, and if I do… I know it won’t kill me but makes me stronger. I think it’s like when your team loses the big game by small margins. You know the other team were probably better, but some bad calls from the referee and shee…

This is such a hard thing I’ve realised to know the difference between pursuing and chasing, balancing between over-pursuing and acting too aloof. I think I managed to do both with the last woman I fell for (emotional quicksand). Such things as, when you left things in her court for a few days about the next date, or double texting when she’s not replied for a while… when to be direct and when not to be overbearing. Overthinking is usually what does it, am hoping some will school me lol

I had a girl promise me a ticket for a gig 3 months in advance on a second date. Things went south not long after this and by then she was re-blocking me day after 🤷‍♂️

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
