I started telling people around month 3, we had a wonderful vacation in Mexico last month and 2 days ago he broke up with me after 7 months. We were supposed to drive down in May so he can meet my father. I guess it's a blessing in disguise.

I have had a tattoo on my left wrist for 10 years and it has never stopped me from advancing. I recently got another one on my right wrist stretching up to the middle of my arm and I also just signed a promotion letter last week. Tattoos are a norm nowadays there are people who have multiples and are still very successful in all areas of their life. Jobs or people who care more about tattoos than the person you are just sort themselves out as those not worth your time.

They weren't plastic shields, and they weren't around the 1 or 2 tables that were in the middle of the room or between or around the piano player. The tables were set apart to still follow precautions. I just thought it added ambience 🤷

The tables were six feet apart and it was a small room so not a lot of people were in it. It definitely made the setting feel more intimate as well.

Financial independence is everything. There's nothing like having the freedom to do what you need and want without relying on others. I really have no support system but my mom so if she can't help it's all me. There's something comforting about knowing that you'll be ok because you have your own back.

I honestly can't feel too bad for her. This can't be the 1st time this behavior has come up and yet she had not one not two but three children with him. Eventually you have to take some responsibility. The only people who deserve sympathy in this situation are the children.

I'm breaking up with my bf of 6 years in the morning and he's lovebombing the shit out me. Keeps giving me kisses and asking if he can do anything for me. Trying to make date plans. Why today of all days??? This shits hard. Choosing me hurts so bad. But I've given him 6 years to get a license, become financially responsible, get a car etc. When we talked about marriage a year ago he said he wasn't ready. I know he'll try to convince me to stay. He has before by love bombing me and convincing me he can change only to never make good on his promises or he always has an excuse. He doesn't blow me up when I'm not home at least but everything else feels familiar. Thank you so much for taking the time to type this all out and spreading awareness. This is my entire relationship. Seeing it laid out like this in black and white...oh my goodness.
