I feel like the guys I’ve messaged w who had that were like aggro. They’ve reached the end of their rope, constantly being ignored and are quietly fuming that all these women are “wasting their time.” It’s not a good look, like we’re all frustrated by online dating but if you’re that mad I can only assume you get equally upset about other trivial things too.

lmao who is still referring to or trying to sell themselves as “nice” in 2020?? all your individual characteristics and NICE was all it totaled up to? sounds like a zero sum personality at best and worst tbh

His “dream dinner guest” is Elon Musk. His “looking for” is a magical partner whose traits include: submissive, feminine, simple, natural “Doesn’t take themselves too seriously“

yeeeah, I’ve also felt that way. Holding out for a preference is fine but it’s important to ask why you prefer that.

speaking for myself, it’s not “hating” on her weight it’s the uncomfortable reality that to celebrate and loose your entire shit when someone slims down says a lot about society. ESPECIALLY when the person hasn’t made any official statements regarding it themselves. it’s incredibly difficult to loose weight, especially when you’re juggling life and most inevitably gain a few lbs back— and then what? we’ll stop loosing our shit at how “amazing” she looks. it’s centering a woman’s appearance 101 a…

Beautiful and a boss, as she’s always been. She leveled up when she hit us with 21 and collectively forced the world to spend the summer weeping as Someone Like You played on every damn radio station and Starbucks 24/7.

the kind of guy that would be scared and put off by a group like this, would honestly be scared and put off by me lol. i don’t universally hate men bc i’m a human being who respects other human beings, period. but with that, i’m never going to roll out the carpet to make sure they feel welcome and safe... the rest of the world’s got that covered.

I would say overall it’s agency over my dating life. I feel like old me was almost a passenger to dating men, let them do most things and then would just try to reserve my true emotions if it went against “being chill”. I don’t give a fuuuck about that now. I say exactly what I will and won’t tolerate. Men now apologize and actually come correct and can sense that I will straight up cut them loose if they don’t. Power in yourself is the best feeling and worth it every time.

Scroll up and read the same question other people have asked. Don't have the time or interest.

Of all the comments about giving this dude slack, I truly appreciate this for what it is. The onus of responsibility isn't put on me to give him the benefit of doubt but offering a pov that I didn't even consider, since this has never happened to me. Honest question : do you think that's a red or even orange flag considering when a person is in recovery they should be focused on themselves?

So if you scroll up you'll see other ladies' comments regarding this so I'm going to save my finger strength. Hes not lv bc of his dui, its his complete absence of tact in the situation. I wasn't looking for any context about duis and Canada, great about ur bf -- i "left the chat" and kept it pushing.

Agreed, but hes 38. A grown man without the wherewithal to understand how to disclose information like this is never gonna have it or learn it at this point.

It's the full absence of tact tbh. Ive been in the throes of life long enough to have once entertained men with zero tact well into their 30s. Surprise, the ability to judge a situation never dawns on them

Wheew! 🤭Preach it! I've never encountered a ww like this and honestly will probably not react well if/when I do but to know they're existing out here like this... the insecurity is not a cute look at all

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
