| 1 | Pretty new to thisMan, this is a heavy load. The loneliness, regret, and missing time with your kids all comes through loud and clear. But so does the work you’ve done. Almost two years sober, rebuilding your life, and still fighting to stay connected to your kids says a lot about who you are now. I’ve had to start over in my 40s too, just past my 3 year mark post divorce, and it is a brutal, humbling thing when life doesn’t look anything like you thought it would. I’ve been there. It sucks. If you ever want to vent or talk through the frustration of dealing with this kind of stuff after divorce, f… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/03/26 05:10 AM |
| 3 | This is a post from divorced women page… you can’t make this shit up. I will never marry againWhat hit me was “I don't want to change." I wanted to choose myself.” Marriage requires both people to have at least a bit of care and concern for the other person and an ounce of selflessness. Sounds like she decided to focus on herself rather than trying to connect with him. Sad, but better for him that she left as well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/03/26 12:18 AM |
