No please don't. You don't want to be that guy that won't respect her relationship. You won't come out as anything, but the bad guy who didn't respect her choices of being in a relationship with one man and not the other. Be there for her. If she breaks up with that person, then you can make her move, but women that aren't interested in cheating have no respect for men that seem to suggest it through flirtation.

Get interested in hobbies outside of school. You connect with people who have shared interests. Start going to a tennis club or join a book club. It's a really easy way to meet people and typically you already know how to start a conversation by talking about the newfound hobby together.
