| 2 | Is anyone else here classically "liberal"?The loudest voices are not usually the majority...just the loudest. I come from a pretty conservative patriarchal background, which, although patriarchal in nature, doesn't truly support men's rights (or womens) in my opinion. Now I'm liberal leaning, and I panicked when I saw all the ultra feminists putting men down and having a sense of superiority over men. It's on both sides. It just manifests itself differently. Especially when I used to prescribe to very different ideals in the not too distant past, just learning and growing still. I'm learning and seeing there's lots of liberal women who support men's rights, which gives me a sense of relief. I've met a lot who don't, and erroneously started to think the few represented the masses. I used to be very conservative and have had a personal journey of progression towards more liberal views. I don't even recognize myself sometimes, or who I was 10 years ago. For me, I say progressive in a broad sense.
