I mean, if I really cared about them being one inch off the average then I could either get them shoes that add an inch+, heel arches for the inside of shoes that add an inch+, or even knee surgery that adds 1-3 inches. Knowing someone bigger and stronger than me is there and could stand to protect me, should something happen, makes me feel emotionally secure.
