That's given me a thought: It's been noticeable in the West that girls have been hitting puberty earlier - it would figure then that theyd also hit the wall earlier then too. Maybe there was some evolutionary advantage to delayed female puberty/prolonged neoteny in that it was conducive to maintaining male attention of the chosen mate for child rearing and protection. Also look into working in child care. They're screaming out for men. That way you can mentor as a job, fulfil your desire to experience fatherhood and being a positive role model, but also have the ability to return the child at the end of the day. If you work with special needs, one child is equal to at least 2 or 3 children rolled into one, so you can really compress the experience. Challenging but also rewarding.
