Dr. Jordan Peterson, Canadian psychologist says this is nothing short of psychopathy. To objectify people in this way and have no qualms about it whatsoever is characteristic of a psychopath. I do not feel bad for one second if a guy asks this and unmatches. It means I have dodged a bullet. It’s just gross.

Oh. My. God. Thank you for this! I have always been told “What is wrong with you that these guys always try something with you? What is wrong with you that you attract them?” And for a little while I thought maybe there is something weird about me. But nope. I have a vagina and that’s basically it. It comes with the territory. Now if I continuously let them into my personal life and space, then yes, I have a problem. But I swat them away now. Block, delete, move on. If feels so damn good. Edit f…

My mom told me this years ago and at first I didn’t understand why. She said, “at some point, it will be used against you, no matter how nice the guy is.” She was right.

It is a fucking scam. I’ve never been so happy to be celibate over a year and I have a high sex drive! But when I think about the “hookups” I’ve had, my body shuts down in disgust. I haven’t even had very many, but you can assume how an encounter would go with someone who doesn’t know you or have any emotional ties with you whatsoever. Maybe (and that’s a big maybe) they could be skilled in bed but the lack of any connection whatsoever makes you feel like you’re a robot on autopilot. Not to ment…

I missed that it was her birthday! Ugh that’s so codependent, using a day that’s meant to celebrate you to treat and serenade someone else. She’s delusional. Boyfriend for 11 years? LOL yes he’s a jerk but she’s making a fool out of herself. She seems so deeply conditioned to believe all that fairytale crap that she keeps going along with this.

Having a kid at 17 and a second at 22, moving yourself and your children in with someone 10 yrs older than you after a few months of dating… Ladies, don’t have children until you’ve resolved at least some of your father issues and codependency, of those are issues that apply to you. The adults in this story have made their own choices. The ones I feel bad for the most are those children. Now they have their own traumas to resolve.

Lol so not true. They are less likely to take advantage of someone who literally presents themselves to them?! It makes it EASIER! No effort, you just show up on a silver platter. I can understand someone saying, “Put in some effort and don’t just wish a nice person will fall on your lap,” but her logic that you’ll less likely be taken advantage of is seriously flawed. Edit: Spelling

Asked my ex narcissistic boyfriend why he loved me and his answer was “well, you speak English and you look good enough…” LOL. At some point he finally admitted he thought I was better than him so he had to put me down to keep me with him, you know, so I wouldn’t think I deserved better. Happy to report his plan failed. Took a lot of therapeutic work but now I know I don’t need any person to validate me.

Sounds like he didn’t care for himself, and that extended onto OP. Agreed, he wasn’t good, really. So he had a job, bought food every now and then, and existed. That sets him apart from literally no one except for someone who’s homeless and unemployed. Very low bar.

Learn to love yourself first and foremost. Never settle for a jerk because you feel lucky that he even likes you. Also, if he truly cared, he would show it without you having to ask or do any special favors. True love is equal and should never make you feel self-conscious and should never make you doubt yourself or be unhappy. If they insult you, walk away. Don't watch porn. Porn is not real sex and is not a realistic representation of men or women. Beware of guys who watch a lot of porn. Beware…

Maybe watching all that porn where women get "finger blasted" didn't teach them anything. One of my boyfriends seemed to think my clit was made out of freaking titanium. No. Thanks. Plus if we do something to make them uncomfortable, they tell us right away, like during the act. So why can't we?

Excellent point, thank you. Who I am today expects no less than what you described of your father, who sounds like a great guy btw! My ex didn't fully reveal this aspect of himself until a few months into the engagement, but looking back there were red flags early on. He had severe issues and after the "honeymoon phase" ended, he couldn't have sex with me unless he was staring at porn on his iPad. The real thing was never good enough. I was naive so I assumed there was something wrong with me, b…

I was engaged to a guy who loved strippers. He just had to visit a strip club every time he went to a new city (it's the same thing everywhere you go but ok...). We traveled all the way to Japan and the first thing he wanted to do in a country filled with art and culture was go to a topless bar (spoiler alert, sex tourism in Japan is a cash trap for foreigners. They swindled him out of his money and was surprised, even though I warned him that would happen). Anyway, we broke up and I continued t…
