Could be worse. Your paying about 15%. For perspective, I see my daughter every other weekend plus 2-3 days a week and I'm paying 30%, and that's not even as bad as it used to be. Do I think $600/month could possibly get all spent solely on my daughters day to days needs? Fuck no. But can I do anything about it? Nope. Just bend over and take it.

I agree with pretty much all you said, I myself went through a pretty nasty divorce/custody battle so I know how it goes first hand. It's deeper than the law, it's ingrained in young women when they watch their mothers do it to their fathers, If the laws were changed I feel would still take a few generations to reprogram the sense of entitlement women seem to be born with.

Well we put it in the paperwork that gets filed and when my lawyer is speaking he alsotalks briefly about it. Then usually (been in front of the judge 4 times at this point and I feel that there are more coming this year) he just makes his judgement, which I believe would be fair had my ex been acting fair, and thats it. Even text messages, they were a serious life saver in my custody battle. Same here, it was crucial in my custody battle and I was also able to use her violent nature and scare tactics to get a 1 year restraining order, which awesomely granted me legal guardian for 5 years. Gotta love technology, especially when your ex loves to talk.

I won 50/50 custody of my daughter after a long and very hard and nasty battle. She does because she bullied me into signing some paperwork from a paralegal by not allowing me to see our daughter for an entire month after we first split up. It could be worse, I have a full 50% split with my ex wife concerning our daughter, my support just got raised from 311 to 380 yet I didnt get a raise from work. Add that to her her credit card and health insurance I got stuck paying and im clearing $500/month.
