One thing to note, he more than likely does not remember at all what it was like to be intact compared to cut. Thus, there is an obvious failure to be able to compare the two and definitively say that one was better than the other.

Yeah I 100% get the sentiment that OP is conveying, but it’s usually the father who makes the decision (Adamant Father Syndrome).

Also the source you keep using is by Brian J. Morris who is a know circumfetishizer. He is member of the Gilgal Society who publishes circumcision propaganda, and fetish stories of young boys being circumcised. The president of the Gilgal Society (Vermon Quaintance) was also arrested for child pornography…

Science and facts would tell you if you remove something, you cannot retain the same form and function. The function changes when you remove the foreskin.

Nobody who has no issues with their foreskin will willingly remove it, there’s a reason why it’s so rare to remove it in the first place. If they do remove it they are most likely circumfetishizers anyways, I’ve seen this all too much. When you have subreddits and people dedicated to a fetish of cutting off the foreskin to make the penis useless, I’d say it’s a pretty compelling reason to NOT chop of a healthy body part. And for those who removed it and are fetishising it, they most likely have …

Okay but this adds nothing of value to the conversation.

What exactly is the reason for this reply? Completely irrelevant

… None of which claim that all men prefer it when they are an adult. They also had a say in the matter. I should also mention that getting circumcised for HIV is incredibly stupid, condoms are very cheap and even free and are literally 100% effective, just basic sex education is far more effective that circumcision. The issue with the African trials is that those men feel invulnerable to HIV and STDs after being cut, that is what they are lead to believe, and so they don’t have any protected sex…

Being American, I can confidently say the majority of males are wilfully ignorant when it comes to this subject. It is very touchy because to them it’s quite literally the only thing that makes them a man, and if they hear that it’s a completely unnecessary procedure done for the American Healthcare complex, basically to undermine what they have, they become incredibly defensive. I’ve had this discussion with my stepfather and father and both said something along the lines of “Well mine is fine”…

Again, this is an incredibly disingenuous statement based on nothing but your own feelings. Personally I fucking hate it, there’s a reason why r/circumcisiongrief exist. Show me where in this study that proves that all men who are cut as an adult prefer it. Even if this were true cutting up the genitals of a non consenting infant is barbaric.

Those studies which you are referring to are disingenuous as they use a relative risk percentage, so the “~60%” reduction is more than the truth. It’s comparing 2 values, roughly 1.5% compared to 2.3%, this is roughly a 50% decrease. It’s like decreasing nothing to nothing, which is certainly in the realm of statistical deviation.

The contrary has been said as well, in fact there’s a pretty famous case of a man committing suicide because he was circumcised as an adult

Yeah because strapping a newborn onto a board and slicing bits of his penis off is disgusting and you should be disgusted by it.

Bro what? How am I deranged? I literally pointed out to you that you have 0 frame of reference to be making bold claims.

Apparently not the Europeans, just Americans and religious zealots. Royal Dutch Medical Association on the matter they outright condemn the procedure for good reason.

Or maybe you would never have gotten it if you were left intact? There is a reason why it’s stupidly rare for an adult to get cut, because they actually enjoy having it or have no problem with it.

You literally have no frame of reference. It’s like a blind person saying being blind is better, is it fair for them to say this considering they were born blind? Stockholm syndrome is a bitch eh?

Circumfetishizer. No sympathy for you.

The problem is that circumcision can be undoubtedly worse than an abortion. You have a case where a fetus in the womb is aborted, they have no conscious, they don’t know anyone or anything, they aren’t actively thinking. Them being killed isn’t the same as an adult being killed. Whereas circumcision is a scar on a male for all of life (unless new procedures prove effective), permanently affecting the looks, function of the only thing that makes a male a male all because his mother think it looks…

And did it work? No. in fact the rates of HIV have only increased in Africa. Literally just look at a world map of HIV rates and you can see a positive correlation between HIV rates and circumcision rates, Europe is among the lowest of HIV rates, whereas the U.S., Middle East, and Africa are among the worst.

The African studies are highly disingenuous, severe issues with the study itself, conflicts of interests on every page, etc.

It is not feasible by any means that the same function and sensations are retained. You are removing a part of the penis, you cannot keep the same function by removing parts. When circumcised the glans becomes rough, dry and much thicker than an intact counterpart. That alone will affect sensitivity, furthermore, the actual function of the foreskin is removed. Why do you think in American movies like American Pie they make a joke about having a container of lotion next to a bed? Implying it is u…

Those claims have been debunked time and time again, literally look at any other source besides america or Brian J. Morris. Literally anywhere else condemns the procedure on male minors Royal Dutch Medical Association’s Stance

Takes more time to clean your ears than it does with a foreskin, quite frankly I’m glad you lost a sex organ if your that dirty
