If you are going out just to meet girls, be honest with yourself and do it. You don't "have to" have fun, dance, and shit, if you didn't felt like it. There is nothing wrong with going out for meeting women.

Read it yourself, and judge it yourself. I've only found useful two books about seduction: Models, and She's Six Steps Away. I don't think there is a thing as "game". There are guys who make up the nerve and make a move. Eventually they start loving it, and they don't give a fuck when they do it. Take care of yourself, and be truly honest. You will have a great time, and girls you will enjoy spending time with, too. Sex is unavoidable.

I'm in the same situation you are. I would really like to go and talk to a set of two or more girls, and just talk for a while. My best friend sometimes opens himself, and we do reaaaally well with groups. They just don't care how you open, it depends more in how it "flows". However, it's really hard for me to do it, either by myself, and with my friends.

Yes. I know it sounds crazy buddy, but I swear it is the best opener in the world. If she is willing to meet you, all the frame was established. If she is not, she will let you know. In clubs, try to just go to a girl and tell her you found her attractive and wanted to meet her. She will either laugh and thank you or tell you to fuck off. If the former happens, you introduce yourself. If the latter, you move on.

A book that really helped me to move from the point you are now, was "She's six steps away". The author recommends something that I found really useful to beat approach anxiety: open, and leave. Do it at least one, in a club or wherever you want. Just ask her if she knows when the club is closing, or what she is ordering. It doesn't matter the answer, you say "Thank you", and leave. Practicing once a week, I started using direct openers in just three weeks.

Read "Models" by Mark Manson. Read his entire blog. Read his two AMA here in Reddit. If I were you, I would worry more about putting my shit together, and trying to improve my social circle.
