And I might be as well to blame there. I am a woman myself and i share some feminist views, but not all of them. Everyone who is a victim needs better protection. This seems very far from my personal experience. I would invite you to look in the mirror and ask yourself and any male friend that you have, if they ever felt unsafe or were victims of violence while being around females. Then.
