1	An Open Letter to Those “Forever Alone” I don't use Audacity, but as far as I know it's not part of the core software (I was looking at all of them as part of my research when choosing a software). Apparently there's a 3rd Party patch you can download that will give Audacity spectral subtraction capability. Download a software called "Wave Pad" by NCH - it's free. Record 8 sec. of background noise in whatever environment you're filming. Import the recording into the software, select the noise on the track, go to the noise reduction option, grab a noise sample and then run the "Spectral subtraction based on noise sample" option.
