Which is exactly why women shouldn't be criticized by being choosy about who they date

This guy’s post history is a master class of the hypocrisy in this sub. He had allegedly everything all these men could ever want — and still cheats on her consistently. Without her knowledge or consent. My heart breaks for his wife and daughter.

Having just come off the thread about how “liberal women suck because they justify cheating more than conservative women”, this is hilarious is a really depressing way. His hardworking and loyal wife (edit: gave birth about a year ago) and he’s primed to be the world’s shittiest stay-at-home-dad if he’s using his extra time and her money to get sugar babies.

The why doesn’t change the reality. Men are more of a threat than women.

Men still remain the common denominator here

🤦🏻‍♀️ duh you’re right! It would probably blow his mind, too, that he’s been able to have girlfriends and get married even though he’s only 5’6!! 🤯🤯

My extremely conservative, religious father recently told me he completely empathizes and understands bisexual women/lesbians and the desire to not be with a man, because he was a religious leader who counseled many women and saw what they went through.

I was raised Mormon, so I never even showed my shoulders and wore knee length shorts. Still got harassed. OP is delusional.

Do you have any hobbies or interests? I would suggest finding local hobby groups or clubs; this already gives you a situation where you’re meant to be social and talk to others, plus built-in common ground.

What's different in raising children "in this day and age" than it was before? I have a "good" kid. And after a day home alone with him, a day at the office feels like a freaking spa day. At least I can take a few minutes to myself here and browse Reddit. Oh, and also, yes it does mean I support myself. And my husband. And my kid. If one leg of our allegorical stool were to go missing, we'd be up the creek. Both incomes are extremely necessary.

who sleep a huge chunk of the time LOL edit to add: I work in corporate. The higher up the ladder, the more freedom you get. TOTALLY worth having. edited again: sorry I'm not busting my back in a coal mine and I'm resourceful enough to turn my talents and passions into a respectable job. AS A WOMAN NO LESS. :O And in return, the wife should show the man how to cook. Would take the load off her as not having to fix everything would take the load off him. Hell freaking yeah! I mean, I know I'm not…

Those types of women (myself included) want an equal partnership. Not supporting them financially Yeah, I don't want that either. I want to work, too, thanks. And if the wife has young kids, being home with them all day is WAY harder than the days I have to be at work. Even if she's not bringing home money, she's saving you a shit ton on childcare. Not fixing their broken shit. Teach a wife to fish... maybe show her how to fix the things she can't? Not listening to their problems This goes both …

We don't need more women having babies And yet you're denigrating a woman's choice to have kids. This is the attitude that I hate -- that women who choose a more "traditional" role are "broodmares", overpopulating the planet, etc. Women need to support ALL aspects of womanhood. Because otherwise, women and their roles will still be looked at as less-than.

I mean, of course, no denying that. A big part of being attractive is being active, eating right, having good grooming habits, and practicing confidence. A person with drive is more likely to do all of those things than someone who is lazy. Of course, like I said, I'm no social scientist. Just a woman who is attracted to men. And those are the qualities I look for.

I clarified a little here Yeah, I'm not a social scientist. I'm just bouncing ideas around, open to debate. :) I wonder Willing to bet That's why I framed everything with these words. Of course it's conjecture.

Haha yeah, I guess it did come across as a little boomer-y. All I was saying is if a man is hardworking and picks up in places where he's lacking in a "good" job or quantifiable household income, he'd still be a desirable partner. IF he's just playing video games and hanging out, those are the kinds of guys women don't want to commit to. A man busting his ass to provide for his family in ANY aspect is sexy, whether it be in a blue collar job, white collar job, or holding down the fort and the ki…

Honestly, it's just having respect for the choices they make and not acting like "women's work" is less-than. Being a stay-at-home-parent should be just as respected as being a working parent, regardless of gender. Being a teacher, a nurse, a professor, a doctor, a caretaker, an artist, a scientist...they should all be respected. Just treating humans like humans and not putting these weird separations between what "boys do" and what "girls do." Just let people...do. Everything will likely shake …

Linking to my comment, I wonder if more women would be willing to marry a lower-income earning man if they were family-focused and took up the domestic tasks? As it stands, the men who are not out-earning women are playing video games and "hanging out." I'm willing to bet a man who is a compassionate, hard-working stay-at-home-dad would be HIGHLY sought after. Just a thought. :)

We're younger, but live in the South, so... Thank you for the advice. :) I grew up poor so I had to learn to take care of myself. It's just ingrained in me and I have a very strong work ethic. I'm a type A and just naturally fit into the role of get-it-done. I think the crux of the issue is the idea that housework/child rearing is seen as lesser-than in today's society and has been for a long time, so you have a bunch of people fighting to be that "strong working man/woman" even if it doesn't fi…

This is something I'm trying to understand. I'm a woman, and the primary breadwinner. I am very happy with a job I love and the potential to grow in my field and bring home a six-figure income. My husband is a contractor and makes supplemental income, but work isn't steady and sometimes he's home for a week or two at a time. He hates his job. He is not happy. And he's not even doing the traditional "wife" roles. I clean the house, cook dinner, pick up and drop off the baby at daycare, on top of …
