Divorce in-house separation and burnoutHave you told your boss that your going through a Divorce currently? Would recommend you do that, as that might help with your PiP and get you some lenancy. I am managing someone on a PiP currently, who has been going through a turbulent time, so we extended it. You need to look at the Unrelenting Expectations Schema and the others, that might give you some insight on yourself. Being a great father to your kids is an awesome purpose, i am not divorced yet but already that has and is my purpose, being the most amazin… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/11/25 10:02 PM

Why is it so tough to leave someone who is toxic for me?It's 100% true, i am not going through divorce yet, talking to lawyers and getting my shit organised first before I pull the trigger. But basically I have stopped caring about my wife thinks, I have been going to the gym, doing heaps of stuff for the kids. Ignore her negative put downs and just being my own person. | 3 | Lol - why is every man a “narcissist”This is a nut shell, i have been accused of belittling and also selfish, that is actually her behaviour. I called it out, it's actually stopped now. It won't last, it's temporary. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/09/25 08:22 PM
Fear of regret holding me back…I think broadly speaking you need to not live life with regrets, and as has been said, if you have crossed everything off the list and literally cannot do anymore, then you can probably walk away with little regret. My situation is similar, I have been putting my happiness last for years, have been to counselling multiple times get told the same thing, your too nice, do too much for other people. So I am putting my happiness first now. I wouldn't say my marriage is absolutely shit, but there is … | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/09/25 12:46 AM
On the Precipice of SeparationI have been here before, as i said, cycles wise. 6 years ago I had an initial conversation with a lawyer, we ended up going to therapy. Will chat to a few mates of mine about costs, one is going through it right now. I feel like I am pretty close, she won't go to counselling, she isn't going to change, I need to work on myself and stop being so nice but yeah. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/09/25 08:59 PM

On the Precipice of SeparationHow do you keep yourself focused on the reasons your separating and not falling back to old ways of just brushing shit under the carpet. I know how to initiate it, I guess once I have done that there is no going back. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/09/25 12:35 AM
