Thank you man! I appreciate it.

I don't want her to stop, I want to gather real data regarding the situation. I'm used to know where I stand (at least from my career) and I'm used to strategize. I don't want to negotiate desire - rather then to understand my position in the game.

Totally agree. Thank you.

I get it. How then are you suppose to allow love deeply if you keep acknowledging the fact that your relationship might end tomorrow? Emotional investment does have a price

I hear what you're saying - and I don't believe relationships are forever. That being said, I do not expect a relationship I which I'd like to fear secure to disappear one morning. How do you reconcile the human need for secure attachment VS the fact that relationships are temporary?

Don't think it's oneitis actually, because I've had it when I was younger and I know how it feels. It's more of an anxious attachment issue. Even though I have multiple options and I am the highest value male in my environment - I still have this issues. In my case, they stem from post traumas and so I'm trying to figure out how to deal with them constructively. Abundance mentality works - but only to a point. I believe that the real remedy here is to develop a sense of security in relationships…

Yes, that is my current strategy. In fact, I believe that self actualization is the key here. As Rollo says, be a man other men want to be, and other women want to fuck.

I completely understand where you're coming from, and while plate spinning it's definitely easier to deal with anxious attachment. To be honest I have been with women, even plate spinning, and I am aware of my own high value. That however does not fix anxious attachment by itself. I believe that this issue must be resolved through constructive experiences that rewire your brain.

Super valuable man, thanks a lot for putting the time and effort to help a friend out!

Any idea how to cultivate this mentality if you're coming from a place of Anxious Attachment? I'd love to learn.

I got it. So essentially, I cannot prevent her from toying with another man by pushing her - I can only pull her by being high value myself. The fact of the matter is that it does bother me, due to Anxious Attachment issues. Strangely, I do have abundance mentality and a lot of options while still having this issue.

I get what you're saying, and have admittedly never been in a threesome. However, my friends who do threesomes often, actually say that the key to making them happen is to make the girls comfortable and to make them interested in each other. What are your thoughts regarding this?

Good points. We are not there, so I wonder if it's a matter of more time is required to get to that point and whether it's worth it. I would have spinned plates, but I have much more imortant shit than women in my life and that is why an LTR (even though I know it is considered hard more) would suit me more.

I want to know if she'd like to see more of me as I would, or if she's okay with things as they are. If she would like more - cool. If not, I'd plate her. I don't want to ask because I percieve it as a needy question.

Ask yourself, what would ideal life look like? Imagine as if there are no limits, and that once you clearly define your goals, all that's left is to put in the work to achieve them. Sounds like you may need some inspiration to expand the limits of your perception of what's possible.

My 2 cents on that kind of depression (been there). I argue that what causes your depression is some underlying thought pattern that robs you of your personal power (=The way you view yourself / experience life). Regardless of the event that triggered that kind of thought pattern, I believe that by developing high mental awareness to your thoughts, and by acknowledging the idea that certain events in your everyday life causes you to "lose" your personal power, you will slowly begin to recognize …

Sounds like you are lacking purpose. Motivation cannot be enforced in ones life, rather its a natural consequence of having a need / goal / purpose that one strives to achieve. Hit me up, and I'll do my best to help buddy.

I recommend investing in skills that would enable you to form / join social circles. By doing so, you will have social proof on your side and if you can present yourself as valuable to the group, the perception of women of you will improve dramatically.

Lock eye contact and smile maybe? Then you are both "in it" together and you can go talk to her

How about situational openers then? Like with the cute barista, or the hot girl from the library

Awareness to the fact that women are just as human as you are helps tremendously. Develop empathy through various practices, and you will begin to appreciate girls as humans, not just as desirable symbols of beauty.

Actually, I'd say it should be used to make the situation ridiculous, not negative. That way, you demonstrate that your frame is unaffected, and you pull her into your frame

Your best bet would be in time without many customers, you don't want interruptions and you want the girls to be receptive to your company. Depends on the mall, but you can easily find it out :)

Yeah :) I'd recommend How to flirt with girls by Tom Torero, Welcome to your new reality man.

Sure, you can open any way you'd like - but make sure to transition to flirtation as quickly as possible. In my experience, flirtation is what brings emotion into the conversation, and if done correctly will generate positive responses from the girls. Over time you will associate your behavior with positive outcomes, and your limiting beliefs will be overcame.

Could work, but I've started with situational openers, Not on the street. The mall / shops in general are excellent places to practice this kind of therapy. I'd go there every day or so to push interactions further and further, and I've gone from being in this position to being able to get laid in less than a month.

Same. As soon as I feel it, I hit on a new girl. But that feels like escape, doesn't it?

Alright. So a useful tip that has helped me, was to set a goal for myself that does not relate to the future with a girl, but rather to the interaction with her. This simple act grounds you and allows you to face your fears head on. Practically, what I mean by that is to push yourself to spend a few minutes with each interaction - and to ignore the IOIs. This will have a theraputic property for you, because you will train your mind to realize that it isn't so bad, and gradually these thought pat…

I posted a very similar question about your issue on this subreddit - look for it in my profile. My 2 cents about your situation: past rejections hurt you a lot, and you have formed a belief that you are not god enough / should be rejected. Now, when you get IOIs from a cute girl, you experience a cognitive dissonance between your desire to continue the dance, and your inner belief about yourself. Let me know how you feel about this idea, and I'll give you the tips that have helped me personally…

Try to explain that you have different needs, and lead her gently through it. By shifting attention from her skills to your needs, you allow her to grow and become better. Did it with a couple of girls, worked wonders.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
