How long do you have? And to argue women have more, tell me which privileges women have, which are not a consequence of years of inequality. Give me innate ones.

2% of 8.1 Billion is still 162 million. That’s just reported, or arrests. Which study or statics did you use?

Giving birth is also hugely traumatic. It’s not easy nor simple. And women are left with no support afterwards. Look at Post Natal Depression rates. Having a baby is a sacrifice, and with how the world is currently going and with the freedom to now choose. Women don’t want to take the risks.

Think you answered your own question mate. If they know this is how you view women. Of course they would be uncomfortable around you. No one’s pointing out, how the other men took ire with you too?

https://littlethings.com/lifestyle/1950s-good-housewife-guide This is one example. And is still pervading in todays society. ‘Look good for your husband’ turns into an expectation for women to look good and perfect always. If you go against this and wear sweatpants or the same dress too many times, it’s against the ingrained culture. Times are changing, it’s a slow process, evident through yourself. Look at more adverts. Some subvert the message too and poke fun at husbands. This is humorous to …

I hope you treat your female clients with respect and don’t as you have somewhat outlined told them to look to men for comfort And I to a degree you should all do things the same. That’s how you get certified no?

Why would they think like that? Maybe because men expect them to look a certain way, maybe because looks gain leverage. Maybe because women are always expected to try harder then men when it comes to looks, as for women it’s seen as a greater symbol of societal gain and worth. Women reinforce what men originally outlined. Just because now some think differently, doesn’t mean it discontinued to affect culture.

They do, but it’s societal conditioning. It’s why men join the army. Why women teach children etc Your whole life you’ve been told something, through media and the adults around you. Wedding are even referred to as ‘the best day of your life’ for women. That’s why they want the best. That or to out do their friends. Which is pitting sexes against each other.

Did you know seat belts were originally only tested on men? The dummies all used to be men More health care should go towards women because they give birth, their reproductive system is a lot more complex. Also women weren’t in loads of studies. Women’s pain is often ignored in health or they are seen as being hysterical. I would know, it’s the reason I almost died

Ok? Should she spend it on men? It’s her to do with what she wants man
/r/MensRights07/08/25 12:17 AM

Because she’s expected to wear different things, while he isn’t. That’s society. The man wouldn’t be asked why he’s wearing the same thing, the women would or someone would talk behind her back behind it. It wouldn’t he seen as proper or it would be seen as taking a risk. It’s like makeup. It’s wrongful expectation.

Im not including drinking and drug use. That can be a myriad of causes and reasons. Women are ashamed of crying, they are called childish. Woman’s health is terrible, how they are treated when they seek medical advise is worse, they are called hysteric. Neither side has it good. And I can only hope we all acknowledge that and be kinder to our fellow man.

How often have you heard about woman’s mental health? Women commit self harm at a higher rate then men globally. Both are terrible, I wish suffering on no one of course. Im just saying society needs to solve the whole problem, instead of targeting one sex, when both are suffering detrimentally. Look at how high depression rates have been getting. Women are also not coddled from birth. That’s a ridiculous statement. What makes you say that?

You know all women don’t have rights? Do you know that reproductive rights are being taken away? Feminism, especially intersectional feminism cares about all women. So even if American women can vote, Eritrean women cannot. Besides having the right to a thing does not mean you can do it freely without consequence. Violence, harassment and societal pressure stop women from voting. https://www.amnesty.org/en/what-we-do/discrimination/womens-rights/ You’re right though, feminism is not just equalit…

While agree their is stigma. Mens mental health is more talked about then woman’s. Men were told not to have feelings and as a consequence struggle supporting each other, women were told to just talk to their mates, and then they don’t or they lie about how they actually feel. I think as a society we need to realise everyone is getting depressed and committing suicide and self harm at much higher rates. So sad to see how many young people are dying as well as old folk. Stigma around mental healt…

statics. And it is actually very hard to commit a man. Rape kits not always administered in time. Men having character witnesses. The majority false reports actually having ‘no evidence’ how do you have evidence for a rape? A women filmed it once and she was sentenced for wrongful filming -mothers have the most responsibility while fathers are praised for minor things. Obviously there are some amazing fathers but women are the primary caretakers and therefore juggling a career and children is ha…

Ok? Men are better at science? Women are better at History, Art, Philosophy, English Literature. Maybe both sexes have a general strength. Or maybe people are more then their sex. Maybe people are individuals. Maybe men have benefited from more support historically. Empathy makes a person smarter. Women are more empathic. I’m not saying women are smarter then men. But I am saying that mens education according to yourself is thriving if only lacking from recent drop in participation. Which has be…

Do you not see how men are they reason why men suffer via those issues, not women. That’s the patriarchy.
/r/MensRights12/07/25 11:37 PM

If you want this essay to be comparative and then prove your point you have to compare to a woman’s issue. ie Men commit suicide more then women but women Self harm more. Woman are called weird for being shy, men stoic and mysterious. How women wish for men to be treated how they are in society. Woman being seen as dogs. Men always being the hero in films women the damsel. Men baby trapping women, role back on woman's reproductive rights and how men commit more domestic violence. That’s a perusa…

It is because men are seen as the only ones strong enough to fight. Fighting has been seen as a honour: for country, religion and mainly for men. Women were too delicate, they were the same value as the children, they couldn’t possibly fight, not wear anything that would be useful in battle ie trousers. Women were ornaments dressed pretty left at home too to then encourage men to return to fight well. Today society has shifted and more and more people see dictator and pro wars ways without the t…

There is a patriarchy, it has existed for so long and in so many places you do not know the difference between that and a egalitarian society. Matriarchy’s too have been dotted in history but have always been destroyed by a patriarchy (neither is wished for, but a matriarchy has had less time to show its full effect). To see it you must only look around and at history. Male loneliness is a very tough subject and falls mainly to how men are treated by other men in society ie be strong, don’t talk…

I am not American, so I can’t speak on that. The specifics of your wars and education systems, however: schooling existed since the Sumerians, Egyptians and Xia dynasty (and before even that in different forms it is to be supposed). As an example of gender based blockage in Ancient Rome women were not allowed to become rhetors. And so many more examples. Look at Malala, this is not just an American issue. Women lean towards childcare and away from science because that is what is expected by them…

Society is loosing empathy. Men are seeing women rise to their positions in society- they feel threatened (not all of course)- the ones that do feel threatened blame women for their short coming and join groups online that will support them (this happens with many groups ie racist ones) what rights have white men ever have to fight for? Now how many have women? While this group can sometimes up lift men and give time to mens issues they always do it through clenched teeth adding more to their ha…

Gender based violence is a real and incredibly unfortunate thing. So yes some murderers and killers are super sexist- example honour killings. The pendulum does of course swing both ways and men are killed by women each year but at a much lower rate then women by men (of course neither should happen) What study are you looking at for men and violent crime? What kind of violent crime? Is it gangs? If so they are moulded into that sort of thing which also needs and does have awareness ie charity’s…

Maybe go to therapy? Not telling what to do obviously but no harm in talking about your feelings, men are allowed to have feelings of course and you possibly seem adverse because of your childhood? Also not everything is about looks. Also it is good to keep in mind you are not entitled to women just as how they are not entitled to you- so maybe for you resentment falls in the space of you thinking (through society or your own mind) that you must be with a women long term which isn’t true and you…

People have been held back historically. Schooling as an institution started with only boys and as such is built on their abilities and temperaments, as a consequence women through history have not had the same access nor right to schooling and latterly degrees that weren’t seen fit for them (instead of a physics degree- finishing school etc) so it is important to encourage women to bridge this gap. You will notice there is out reach for men in underrepresented fields too noticeably nurses which…

You know ADHD isn’t new right? More people are being diagnosed because of less stigma and more awareness (likewise with many diseases and disorders) years ago these symptoms were ignored and excused and it’s good people especially young people are getting more help Women also can have ADHD if you didn’t know
