I met my wife in high school. We were in theater together. Spent a lot of time just hanging out with each other and talking about whatever crossed our minds. Our first date was at a restaurant. She bought me lunch. Nothing really changed between us afterward aside from gradually getting more physical.

You said yourself that, once on a date, you pursue sexual territory. Not once did you say that it had to be clear that she was also interested in pursuing sexual territory. Until just now, that is. I'm not projecting anything. I'm happily married with four kids. It's funny to me how you keep espousing the cold approach and then state it doesn't work most times. Did you ever think that women aren't trying to date someone all the time?

Yes sex is part of a relationship and some of that relationship iss based on physical attraction. Going out to meet a woman and thinking of a hundred ways to get into her pants while talking to her is not going to end the way you think it will. You've skipped the while process of building a relationship. You can't think of women as an object to be obtained.

In your own words, you did not make your intentions clear. You're not looking for a relationship. You're looking for sex. While that is not a bad thing (plenty of people hook up in NSA terms all of the time) the thinking in this sub is backward. You cannot go into a situation with an eye on sex and hope to spawn a relationship out of that.

Maybe you should reread some of your comments and the other comments on this sub. I came here from a cross post on r/niceguys. I wasn't disappointed. All of the advice, including yours, falls into that category.

The landscape may have changed, but how women want to be treated has not. Being viewed as a conquest that someone can obtain of they just continue the pursuit is a recipe for failure.

Whatever you say. 🤣🤣 Hey, don't forget to tell your "girlfriend" that you appreciate her finally falling for your drunken advances after hundreds of failed attempts with others. Your entire stance reads as someone who views women solely as sex objects or potential sex partners and not as actual people. There's a reason that your type of advice is ridiculed in society. But do go on...Master Puck-up Artist😂😂

I'm going to call bullshit on that. I don't doubt that a cold approach can work, especially not now that the club scene is fading as is the traditional bar scene. Lasting relationships are built on trust and common interests. And I'm saying that as a married man. 21 years.

Do you want a partner in not? Coming into a situation, right off the bat, and signaling that your romance doesn't work. Just look at this sun. Do many guys espousing their "strategies" for getting a date or for becoming romantically involved with someone, yet they keep coming back here to talk about how it didn't work. This time, but if they keep at it.... The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result. Try thinking of women as something other t…

Cold approaching isn't a real thing. It's just bullshit told to desperate men who believe they can walk into a bar or club and just find s girlfriend on the spot. That isn't real life.

Have you ever considered, and I know this is a controversial take in this sub, maybe just getting to know a woman without constantly trying to "make her your girlfriend" or have sex with her? If your first interaction with a woman is to immediately attalempt to date her, you're going to fail. That doesn't happen in real life. The mindset of a "game" is precisely what women pick up on and why they reject you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
