Yes. I can say for myself, and I see it in the posts here - people come onto forums like these when they get lonely and feel rejected. And that's what a big portion of the posts are about. It creates a really negative and toxic environment. Like you said, you wouldn't vent about the Red Pill with your friends. Nobody on here would post their thoughts if this thing wasn't anonymous. That tells you all you need to know.

In my experience, agreeing with them will only further your reputation as a clown. If you have had enough of his shit, then a straightforward 'Shut the fuck up' works just fine. Forget about looking hurt, everyone knows both of you are just pretending to not care about each other's insults. The next time he tries to speak with you, cut him off with another STFU or ignore him. That simple. If he doesn't fuck off and continue to escalate, then you have an excuse to punch the cunt, and if you get b…

I use SaxoBank, they act as a broker for me. I just sit at home and open and close when the opportunity arises. I don't actually trade the share - I make a what's called Contract for Difference (CFD). It has significantly lower margins, so I don't require that much money to get in on a trade - but I never really own a part of the index either. However to me, it doesn't make much difference - I open at one price, and then close at another, just like you'd do with a share. The benefit is that I ge…

My parents are involved in the field so I have heard a lot of the terms (including for candlestick combinations) before. There are also trader forums (specific one I use is non-English) which break it down quite well. I have an account with Saxo Bank, they act as my broker when conducting trades. I use websites to look at charts at times (due to smaller delay), but to conduct the actual trades I use SaxoTrader, the software that came with the bank.

I do a bit of technical analysis, but most of my work comes from simply watching prices. This is a pretty 'brute' strategy, I'm essentially a monkey that clicks buttons when appropriate. I'm still trying to perfect it, but so far it has worked well as a low-risk part time job. I go on a traders' forum and get a lot of my information from there, plus some 'classic' books (e.g. Japanese Candlesticks). I plan on having a salary based job in the future though, so I wouldn't consider investing too mu…

I live in Europe, so I went for the bigger index there was (also recommended by the guy I opened my account with). I have spent many hours looking at the index movement, looking for certain patterns, and a couple months going into theoretical deals until I started making consistent progress. I haven't considered other exchanges simply because they all probably have their own quirks, their own big players and investors, and thus require a different approach. You could always apply the above. Theo…

FTSE100 Index Trader. A year out of high school, studying as well. At the moment, you'd need about 400 USD to get in on a share. With one share, you could safely make up to 80 USD of profit a day. I live in Central/Eastern Europe, and if you do this 5 days a week, you'll have a great part-time salary allowing you to study or do your 'main' job. The initial investment can be easily made doing part-time work. Took me about 12 shifts at a warehouse to get the sum needed. Rules: Actively trade only …

You are right. When I'm alone, it's difficult. But when I'm with a group, then they hype me up (e.g. 'Go talk to that girl over there bro') and I can at least approach a bunch of girls and ask them something (usually the conversation dies down quickly). I'm not even afraid of rejection as much as the silence or not being able to contribute anything to the convo after the first couple of minutes.

I started at 15, and wish I began earlier with a serious program. It's not going to stunt your growth, don't worry. Pick a good beginner routine that focuses on compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, bench, press), and get enough food into your system. I didn't make any gains for months because I thought doing cable flies and curls was going to get me big.

Suffice to say, Central Europe. The younger crowd might speak a bit of English and that's about it. I don't feel like investing into the language as it's not exactly popular anywhere else, and I plan on going back to join the military in a couple of months.

Yeah, I definitely have an issue with self-esteem. I'd rather read a book (I've sort of quit YouTube binging), although I suppose if there's a quality video I can look into that. In most cases I'm just not sure what to say, even with people I'm familiar with, so I remain silent and passive. Probably ties in with my low self-esteem and dependence on what others think of me. I must definitely try, though. Unfortunately I live in a country where I don't know the language yet, so trying to speak wit…

Considering that almost a fifth of the Russian population are Muslims, and they have regions where underage arranged marriage is completely legal, I don't think Russians are in any place to comment on the situation without looking like a bunch of hypocrites. They have a Muslim terrorist - Kadyrov - working in the administration. Why they are so obsessed with pointing the finger at Europe again?

Well, we do want to be horny so that we are bolder and more direct when speaking with girls. I'm not so sure about the act of masturbation in itself, but porn definitely doesn't do you much good. For the average male it's probably best to avoid both until they start getting laid regularly. Of course it could all be pseudoscience and we're fucking our hormones up or something, but I digress.

PHAT is a nice 5 day routine (assuming you're intermediate), PPL is a great 6 day routine. Neither require any cardio. But you could always just go for runs and do pullups and pushups each day, skip rope, play a sport, practice a martial art... Whatever you find fun.

You can just google "PPL split Reddit" ("A linear based progression..." is the one I'm talking about - RedPill doesn't allow external links), alternatively there's a number of detailed programs on the Bodybuilding website.

A street fight can, and in most cases will be ended in a single punch... So the logical conclusion is to train one single punch. To quote Bruce Lee, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." How? When you go to a weightlifting gym, end your workout with a 10 minute cardio session on the heavy bag. Train only one punch. Try going for speed, then for hitting power, mix it up. Of course, a better option would be to also joi…

There's a difference between two people having consensual sex without saying anything, and taking advantage of a drunk girl and proceeding until she starts to physically resist. Also, strong edit.

Strong rapist vibes you're giving off there. I was at the 'girl' side of the story once - drunk and had a gay guy make advances on me. Too drunk to resist and almost blacked out, I just wanted to fall asleep. Kept telling him to fuck off, he wouldn't listen. Now nothing happened (the adrenaline kicked in once he got on top and I sobered up... Muay Thai training paid off), but I wouldn't want anyone to take advantage of me period. A girl, especially drunk, should fully consent, and not just for y…

Layne Norton did a great segment on this. 'IIFYM vs eating clean'. To summarize, clean/dirty eating is an incorrect concept because you can't group foods into a 'dirty' or 'clean' category. However, there's more to food content then your basic three macros. Missing these key components is easy if you just eat anything to bump your caloric intake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6H2edyPLU8

When feminists scream for equality, they are thinking of the well-paying jobs with nice benefits. Cheap, hard manual labor? Let's leave that part for the men...

Agreed. Starting Strength is a rough template. It's also a beginner's program. It's supposed to introduce you to the idea of progressive overload, compound movements, better eating habits. Not much else. Once you've got your form down and made some progress (mostly just your nervous system getting adjusted after being dormant from a lack of exercise - you're not gaining any muscle mass here), move on.

They have no reference point seeing how most of them have never even approached the squat rack. Just like if you've told me your ride goes 0-60 in 3 seconds, I'd bat my eyelashes because I'm clueless when it comes to cars.

Genuinely surprised that women are aware of this sub. I always thought it's just another part of the mostly dorky Internet culture. Heck, I've stumbled on here thanks to a reference on an obscure forum. Must be a US thing.

Plus his physique is like 1% tier, the average bro would have to get on steroids to come anywhere close to that.

These fitness models have a strict routine and even maintaining (let alone gaining) mass at sub 10 BF means they're on gear. A regular dude can't afford to buy steroids nor does his schedule allow him to be on a strict diet. 10-12% is good enough for anyone with actual muscle mass.

Bodyfat below 10% is unhealthy - you will lose muscle mass, have a weakened immune system, your lifting strength will suffer etc. A healthy male will sit in the early teens (under ~15%), where your muscles and facial features (like cheekbones) are still well defined and vascular.

Preach. The age of consent around Europe is set at 14-16. Little surprise, girls that age are openly dating guys in their twenties.

If you're a beginner on 5x5 Stronglifts, when you've had to deload your weights (generally 10% off whatever you were doing) 2-3 times. A deload happens when you've stalled on a certain weight for three workouts in a row.

I'll be honest, no. At least beyond 'smash that cute chick from your Tuesday PM class'. I've been raised in a materialistic household (have a well-paying job, work in a large city, not some countryside slum etc.) and I've been following my parent's advice the entire time. I guess a personal development goal would be something like: buy some land and build a nice beautiful house? Win a powerlifting competition? Speak 4 languages fluently? I just haven't found that niche yet.

Indeed. I've lived my high school years thinking about all the crazy things that will happen... maybe, one day, once I get this and that. Turns out I've wasted 4 years and got out with mediocre grades, no new hobbies, zero girl experience, and a lack of meaningful friendships. Thanks for the suggestion! I need to start reading again, you've pushed me in the right direction.

Yes, but disregard Rippetoe's nutritional advice. It's unhealthy and will turn you into a fat slob. Instead... Read this thread carefully: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=156380183 A great video by Layne Norton, he knows his stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6H2edyPLU8

Don't worry, girls actually favor the skinny look. http://foxhoundstudio.com/blog/fitness-lifestyle/the-ideal-male-physique-%E2%80%94-what-girls-want-want-guys-want-to-be/ Not to put you off from working out though - do what you gotta do.

Funny you mention that 'surround yourself with high SMV guys'. I lift, practiced Muay Thai, try to dress 'smart' and pay attention to my apparel, but always talk with other social rejects to not appear lonely. It's like I'm AMOGed by the people I actually have shared interests with, and the 'armchair philosophers' see me as a boring or insincere person. These are the people you want to surround yourself with, as opposed to the armchair philospher or . As a rule of thumb, if anyone I meet doesn't…

Not quite. Do a strength routine for as long as the gains are coming. That could be 6 months, could be only 3 - everyone is different. Once you are no longer able to consistently add weight to the bar, consider yourself an intermediate.

Agreed on Muay Thai. All it takes to win a fight is one well placed strike. No need for Bruce Lee kicks and crazy judo throws.

Notice the differences in tone between Case 1 and Case 2. Case 1: "He's an evil manipulator, walk away". She can end the relationship at any point; no threat of being kicked out of your own house or having the kids taken. It's her choice to continue with this 'emotional abuse'. Case 2: "She has a disorder, she's not a bad person." She's ruining his life and he can't just walk away from it. But the feminists are still trying to justify the girls' actions. Tsk.

For a pull-up, grab a chair and then do slow negatives (only the part where you lower yourself - the chair will help with getting to the top of the bar). A few sets of these each day and eventually you'll be able to do pull-ups on your own.

I can relate to the confidence issue, namely parents and not expressing yourself. Take up boxing or MMA, it's a very testerone-filled and highly competitive class filled with young guys your age. That and lifting has helped me over the last couple of years, it earns respect among male peers, makes you feel like a man. I'm still beta, mind you, so it'll take more than just physical change. But it's a good start.

Yeah, I've shifted to asking the other person questions. The problem is I run out of things to ask, or often they turn out to be social butterflies who can talk and talk and move onto other things before you have a chance to put a word in. I imagine they see me as a boring guy that stays silent the entire time. I also dread it since I'm afraid it'll feel like an interrogation rather than a genuine exchange. I remember in particular talking to one guy, he'd ask me questions to keep up the convo b…

I will definitely try, although I'll be honest social anxiety is pretty rough for me. The problem I have with just letting people in on my inner dialogue, is that at the end of the day people couldn't care less what you think. Moreover, I've seen guys do this who come off annoying, child-like, even autistic. The thought that I'll produce the same negative reaction in other people makes me more shut in.

I'll try this approach, thanks. Unfortunately every time I'm alone with someone the conversation dies down very quickly. We've already discussed class and the curriculum and how much we have to study... It's almost like a robot exchange (lol), every half minute I'll put in a short sentence or question and they reply and that's it. There's no connection or genuine interest. Mostly it's just awkward silence on the bus home. I cringe just thinking about it. EDIT: I try to avoid appearing 'needy' or…

I've talked with a few people but the conversation dies down quickly. From on then it's just a question-simple answer exchange with intervals of awkward silence. We then bump into someone else and they just hit it off, and I'm just sort of third wheeling along until we get back home.

Unfortunately, AFAIK there are none (except for sport... I already lift and have little interest in tennis/running or whatever other BS aerobics class they have). But more importantly. I feel like even if I joined a club, I would still be a loner. Like I said, everyone came in complete strangers but already have made friends, and are going out on planned events. Whilst I'm sidelined. I've made excuses throughout high school but after another failed attempt at creating a social circle I've realiz…

Might sound irrelevant but if you're starting out fat, then use that to your advantage as the extra weight will make it easier to move around bigger weights, which will help with gains. You can eat at maintenance and then switch to a cut routine e.g. Ice Cream Fitness.
