I did say it. I'm not sure how you missed it when it's the start of this whole thread...

I'm not rejecting anything. At the beginning of this thread, the very first thing I said was I hope they all get laid and that it makes them better people.

And you're reducing young men to the power of their penis. I thought we agreed to disagree?

You keep editing your posts after I respond. But yes, it's difficult to take seriously someone who claims teen boys have a psychic need for sex. EDIT: Grammar

No, I'm being completely honest.

young man's psychic need for sex Metaphysics =/= psychology. I'm not sure how you don't understand how ridiculous these statements sound. I'm trying and failing to take you seriously.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/15 08:54 PM

You're stating that the is is the psychology of Western Civilization. That in itself is ridiculous.

Whether you currently identify as redpill or not, your viewpoints are very much in line with theirs, so my point still stands.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/15 08:39 PM

That is a very odd viewpoint. I'll be sure to ask the men in my life if this is true or if you are continuing take the views of a small Internet community as AMALT.

Trp is not the majority.

Firmly disagree. People who place so much significance on sexual interaction will be much less balanced and happy than those who don't. But yes, let's end this because we're not going to see eye to eye.

It's unfortunate you went through a women-hating phase, but please don't think that just because this was "healthy" for you, it's something every man needs. I know this might be hard for some people to understand, but not everyone has the same experiences nor places the same amount of value on certain things.

I don't believe sexual experience grows you as a person. Rather it can be a part of growing up, but not necessary for maturation. You place a significant value on it, which I don't understand. It's an enjoyable experience, but it is not, nor should it be, such a significant part of a person's life. A person who puts so much stock in how much sex they are or aren't having to me indicates an individual with low self esteem and no other interests or goals.

People don't choose to live in a third world country if they can help it. I also don't see how working on an oil field is comparable to unhealthy mental health. Your comparisons make no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/15 07:07 PM

I could say the same about some trp viewpoints. Irregardless, it is not healthy to attach so much of your self worth on other people (considering sex is something you get from others). Ask your therapist if you don't believe me.

No, I don't have any friends like that I know of. The closest I come to is my brother, but he's now in a relationship and seems pretty happy. You make quite a lot of assumptions, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/15 09:09 AM

Yes and no. I don't find it threatening. I find it sad. I feel bad that some of you derive so much of your self worth from how much sex you are or aren't getting. I don't think it's a healthy mindset and if having sex makes you feel better about yourself, then I hope it happens for you. Besides that, sex is a wonderful thing and everyone who wants to participate in it should get the chance to. You're right- I don't like trp's principles. But I don't like the idea of people feeling worthless due …

Eh, believe what you want. I honestly do want you guys to get laid and lose the chip on your shoulder. But you'd rather believe otherwise, so have at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/15 09:05 AM
8

No, you're wrong. I want you all to get laid, but I'd also like for it to make you into better people. Some of you seem to believe sex will solve your problems, but then there are terpers who claim to be having lots of sex, but they still come here with negative views about women.

I'm fine with open relationships/polyamory. I'm not okay with cheating. So long as one partner is unaware, it's not okay.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/15 08:01 PM
1

That wasn't my only suggestion. If that doesn't work, try separating for a while. Cheating should never be your automatic go to, especially when trp has such a fear of divorce rape. Even if you sign a pre-nup, you cheating will make it much easier for her to convince a judge she deserves some of "your" money.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/15 09:13 AM
2

Then go to couples counseling or even see a sex therapist. If a relationship isn't perfect, you work on it through whatever means necessary. If necessary, maybe even separating for a while, but not divorcing and establishing rules/parameters for that separation period might help the both of them decide if the marriage is worth saving, while also giving the dissatisfied partner an opportunity to see other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/15 04:05 AM
2

Cheaters, especially people who cheat regularly. This applies to anyone, regardless of gender. If you know you desire sex that much, either don't get into a relationship or have an open relationship that both of you are comfortable with. Also, people who agree to be someone else's side dish when you're aware that person is married/in a relationship and their partner has no idea.

I'm sorry you went through such a difficult time. However, in your post you stated that all women know trp is true, but deny it, so I provided you an example based on my life on why I don't believe it's true. Your response explains why you believe in trp, but I'm not sure how it applies to me?

50 women is not a calculated risk. No woman is gonna think, "Well, since I can't have sex with 50 men, I might as well have sex with 50 women to avoid slut status!" She prefers women, point blank. Being with you only indicates that she's not entirely lesbian or she's curious. Also, it doesn't take 50 women to confirm that you're straight. Sorry, but some of those variables are ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/15 09:48 AM
2

I meant, yes she might like you for now. But if she's been with 50 women before you, clearly she prefers female company. You're not at risk because a woman might try to steal her from you (although that could still happen), you're at risk because there's a high chance she'll leave you for a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/15 07:17 AM
1

Women can pass STDs to each other. Also, if she's been with that many women before she's been with you, what would make you think she'd be satisfied with you when it's clear she loves female company? You run the same risk of being cheated on/broken up with.

The reason I disagree with trp is because I know based on my own personal experience it's not true. I'm not attracted to alpha males. My sister has been in a relationship with what you guys would consider a "beta" for over two years. She's in her "cock-carousel" prime, with no interest in riding it. The same goes for a lot of women I know. I don't buy into trp because I've seen no proof of it in my own life or the lives of my loved ones. Getting fit and being confident isn't solely an alpha thin…

I don't get it. If she had a strap-on used on her by those 50 women, why would it be less of an issue for you then if she had been with 15 men?

I'm not sure this reply will do him much good as his knowledge of feminism seems restricted to the info he's learned on men's rights forums

I actually responded to this yesterday, but my phone did something stupid and my comment never posted. The gist of my reply is that I'm not going to be able to debate with you if you continue to use radical feminism as your defense against feminism as I can't argue for views I don't even support. I'm sure Germaine Greer is popular, in the same way a shock jock is, but it doesn't make her any less radical. Feminism is a movement for equality among genders. You keep arguing that feminists want wom…

I'm not sure you understand what feminism is. Trp is a sexual strategy. Feminism is a movement to promote gender equality, yet you keep equating them as if their paths are similar. I think part of the problem is you're equating radical feminism to feminism and the two things are not the same. You using Germaine Greer just proves that point, as she is considered to be a radical feminist.

No gender should ever be superior to another. Something I see commonly on trp is men being told to put themselves above women, or that they should be better than the women they date. This, to me, seems to encourage male superiority, which is just as bad as the inverse. Your partly right. Feminism does seek to broaden gender roles and make it so that no one, male or female, has to be confined to a narrow set of expectations. That, however, does not mean you can't uphold a traditional ideal for yo…

It's not that I don't think rational people exist on trp. /u/gavinok posts on here often and seems to be the type who actually wants to hear opinions from the other side, not simply to twist words around to fit his worldview, but to try to understand a different viewpoint. I also agree that encouraging people (not just men) to be fit, confident and not be ruled by their desire to be accepted by others (not just the opposite sex) to attain happiness is a very good way to live. But anyone could te…

But then you ignore the fact that women also have standards and might not want the person who wants them. I also think that men could easily have sex with someone if they were willing to significantly lower their standards, but not everyone wants to have sex with someone they aren't attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/15 06:10 PM

So then you admit even women get rejected? Good to see we agree on something.

You're right. I said there is no secret strategy. I also said women get rejected and that some people will like you and some people won't. It fascinates me how you were able to hear something completely different, though. Tell me, when people talk, do you often just substitute words they are saying for things you'd rather hear? Or do you just do that to women?

It's funny that you're intentionally trying to misconstrue what I'm saying to prove your point. Please direct quote me where I've made such an admission?

I find it so strange that you guys actually think we do. Guess what? Not only do we not have a strategy, but women get rejected, too! Inspite of what you and your fellow rpers think, there is no universal way to attract the opposite sex. Some people will be interested in you and some people won't be.

1) I'd heard about it here and there around reddit, but actually thought the redpill was satire, because some of the stuff was so over-the-top and hateful that I figured it couldn't possibly be real. When I found out it was, I was saddened that people like this exist, many of whom very openly hate women. 2) I joined thebluepill because I find the things posted on it hilarious. It helped me to realize there was no point being sad about the existence of trp and that it was much better to just laug…

I never said I was attracted to Justin Bieber or anything about sports cars. I think you may be confusing me with a different commenter?

I didn't realize you meant this more in the casual sense, sorry. Hypothetically, if I'd continued to be in the dark about his character and we'd bumped into each other at a bar or something, then the potential would have been there. If I was aware of his negative personality traits, then no.

Initial attraction exists for me. I'm not attracted to bulky, overly muscular men. I typically prefer the nerdy-looking, glasses-wearing type. Partly because I think glasses are sexy and partly because I've always gotten along best with nerds, so I guess it makes me think the guy will have certain personality traits. Recently, a guy I found very attractive at work and who initially had the geek vibe going for him turned out to be a complete jerk. Very arrogant and very blunt, with little care or…

Orgasm denial is when you bring your partner to the brink of having an orgasm, and then prevent them from achieving one. It's done so that when an orgasm is finally achieved it's much more intense due to the previous denial.
