Showing that in schools is a clearly terrible idea. It frames teenage boys through the lens of a murder drama, essentially treating them as potential criminals. It's patronising and harmful to make young men feel they're viewed as monsters who need fixing. It's the same shit I faced in school where boys were all treated as rapists and predators. And not surprising if that to some extent fucked me up. Boys need love and support. That's it. That's literally it.

Not surprised. Those in power want to keep their power. Why would they even want to entertain more open-minded perspectives when speaking out against dominant ideologies held up on a pedestal could obliterate their careers? Yea point 46 is crucial (well, they all are, but this one stood out to me). Yea. I have quite an old example but I want to share it here anyway. Recently I did a machine learning course and I had to predict how likely it was for someone to survive the titanic based off their sex, age, name (some had titles etc.), cabin class, departure point etc. Often with datasets like this you get the best results by taking a few different features into consideration. She got the death threats and other assorted harassment after opening a women's shelter - the first in the modern world - not a men's one. It's doubly bad because at the same time I think it hurts men. The narrative of patriarchy is one where men are seen as the perpetrators of bad deeds, and where women are seen as the victims. Absolutely agree. MGTOW is just the male version of TwoXChromosomes. Both subs are filled with hatred against the opposite sex. I don't find that to be the case with this sub though, which is extremely refreshing.

This is also a belief I've held for a long time. I think that feminism is directly responsible for a lot of issues men face. God it would be the dream to just transcend identity politics, but I doubt that will ever happen. I have no evidence, I'm not a psychologist or whatever, but from my brief experience on earth it's very apparent that humans love to differentiate things, and they love to assign labels/create attitudes about those different things.
