I was there. It's infuriating. But please... stop exposing yourself to media that is clearly having a damaging effect on your state of mind. That's what I did, and my life has improved. I feel free, and powerful again. Why? Bursting the online bubble, taking some time away from it and now having distance from it all - I see how pathetic they are. They're just confused, angry and online. I genuinely don't think those girls will grow up still holding those beliefs. If they do, the joke is on them,…

Don't give up. I saw this story recently. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9430615/Ex-prisoner-criminal-record-given-job-Timpson-goes-apprentice-manager-six-months.html I'd suggest finding more success stories like this and examples of people who have made a good life for themselves after a criminal conviction or reputation defamation. Read about how they did it, and it will start to feel more achievable for you too. Also maybe find a support group online or in person perhaps of people w…

Boys and young men should also be at least a bit afraid of women. Also on dating apps. Agreed. But encouraging people to be AFRAID of the opposite sex isn't helpful. Some people will get scared and just not bother dating, and end up alone. On both sides. There are good and bad people. Men and women. End of. We should all take precautions and be safe :)

No problem. That sounds like a great idea - opening up to someone you trust about it. That also shows you're moving into a new stage with coping with it and moving on. Well done. Good luck with it all.

Interesting. I'd need to see statistics to believe that. I'd assume it's both men, but that's an assumption based on figures I've seen about suicide. This year male suicide has sky rocketed higher than ever too.

This is about men's rights, not women who support men's rights' rights. But I'd have thought the more people there is supporting a movement, the more power it has. She has a huge platform and is raising awareness for mens rights on a massive scale. Boys and men will see her content and get involved. That's a good thing.

I believe what you're experiencing is a survival mechanism - your brain doesn't want what happened to happen again, so is constantly keeping you on red alert. It plays havoc on anxiety and stress levels. After something shitty and traumatic happened to me, I realised I was almost constantly in fight or flight mode. Not healthy. Our brain has our best interest at heart, but it has the tendency to warp reality: Just like not all men are predators, not all women are lying manipulating psychopaths. …

You just implied someone who attempts suicide DOESN'T CARE about their loved ones. That's ignorant and heartless as fuck. You clearly don't understand mental health. The most likely to attempt and commit suicide are MEN by the way - so do you also believe none of those men care about their loved ones? You know you're in the mens rights sub, right?

I HATE the thumbnail she's chosen to use. BUT... I watched the video... and I believed her. I wouldn't put it past women to put her life in danger like this and try to ruin her life. What she says about more women not speaking out about mens issues - because WOMEN make their lives hell - is 100% true.

She says in the video that those allegations about her and her child were made up by feminists who hate her. It sounds like a smear campaign against her. She also says in the video they have no evidence. I wouldn't put it past some evil minded feminists to do this to a person. Have you seen evidence we haven't or something?

From the start, you've come across like a 15 year old who hates women. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but it's obvious you have the maturity of fresh dog shit. Grow up. You're helping no one. Go fix your fat thumb.

I have to admit I don't follow sports (and being from the UK, I'm especially unfamiliar with US sports), so I don't understand why Sarah Fuller was even in the football game? Can both sexes play together now? I'm confused. Yeah I heard her kick was awful. Lol. It feels like she was there for some type of publicity stunt which bugs me as I don't like the virtue signalling I'm seeing everywhere. It's the companies loss at the end of the day, with viewers switching off. "Go woke, go broke" as they …

Here in the UK kids are about 11 in Year 6, the last year of Primary School, and that's when I was taught sex ed come to think of it... but back then, there was nothing about consent. That seems new. Hopefully it has a positive impact. Time will tell

I have no idea who Chloe Roma is... I don't have Tik Tok. If she's luring men to subscribe to her OnlyFans page, I'm not surprised you suspect she has ulterior motives, but please don't tarnish us all with the same brush. Cynical and lazy assumptions are exactly how phrases like "Men are trash" began. Don't be like them. "Chameleons, just looking to gain more benefits." - Jesus. Please open your mind to the FACT that there are women who realised feminism was more concerned with shitting all over…

My views are also considered radical and dangerous. As long as you are not hurting anyone, you are 100% entitled to your opinion. Own that. We live in a time where actual bigots are calling anyone who thinks differently, a bigot. Welcome to upside down land! I am here to have discussions, and something I've learned is that where I am met with abuse - I leave. Don't allow yourself to be subjected to people obsessed with hating others. Give your time to people and apps/places that are focused on b…

Depending on how strong/serious the misandry was, it might have influenced your overall attitudes towards women, but I don't believe it would alter any attraction to them sexually. I know straight men who no matter what they're exposed to, would never not desire women. I think off-putting information isn't strong enough to alter a persons primal desires. Sexuality must be inherent. That's why things like conversion therapy doesn't work, and just harms the people who are subjected to it. Saying t…

Ooh. Interesting. Why do you say that? As a straight female I've found that since moving away from feminism (misandry being a large reason why!) I'm more attracted to traditionally masculine men. It's like feminism was subliminally telling me to inhibit my natural attraction to them, because men who display dominant traits are "toxic".

If you'd have read a few of the replies and my responses, you'd have noticed that other men have replied courteously, with information which I've read. I've had my eyes opened to the bigger picture, and I thank those specific men for that. When you attack someone with bad language and attitude, like you've just done, you do nothing to help your cause.

I wasn't aware of any of that. Funny how the feminists never mention it - I've noticed they like to stay in their bubble, and if you ever contribute anything that mentions men, they bite your head off and block you for "derailing". It feels counterproductive, and if we're all aiming for the same goal of being treated more fairly, surely there need to be conversations involving both sexes. They seem resistant to that... I'm glad I came upon this post and have received all these replies. There is …

Working my way through all this! Thanks for such a detailed reply, I really appreciate it. I can feel how important it is to you and my mind is being blown by some of the things here... I'm shocked and horrified :( My mind is full of questions too. How and why have we arrived here?! What is the objective to downplaying/totally erasing male victims and exaggerating female victimhood? Thanks so much for that. It's eye opening and I think I have some reading up I need to do. I'd recently read that most victims know their attackers, like you said. Considering that's the case with the majority of cases of non-consensual sex, why does the average person still think of the hiding in a bush and pouncing on a stranger scenario, when they think of rape? It is bizarre. More awareness needs to be raised. There is so much work to be done, clearly!

the notion that males are inherently the perpetrators of violence has been scientifically proven to be categorically untrue. I agree that no gender is inherently more or less violent. Me sharing some recent statistics wasn't intended to imply men are bad to the bone. I don't believe they are. I just wanted to share some recent numbers that reflect the times we're currently living in. What's causing the violence, I don't know.
/r/MensRights27/12/20 09:14 PM

Wow. I'm really surprised by those numbers so thanks for sharing. Apologies for being graphic... but when a woman rapes a man, wouldn't he have to be erect? I am curious to know how that would work. And under what scenarios are these men are being forced to have non-consensual sex with women? It just confuses me a little, and I never ever see it being reported about. It's never talked about. (I guess that's part of the problem and the point of the post)

I've never heard of the term "forced envelopment" so thanks for bringing it to my attention (that sounds weird, but you know what I mean!) Yes men are bigger victims of suicide and I totally agree we could cherry pick things. Ultimately the sexes are both playing the oppression olympics right now, looking for evidence "we have it harder, see!" It solves nothing. What would be a solution?

I agree because a victim mentality being drummed into women ultimately holds them back. However, if we're talking specifically about domestic violence and sexual violence against women, women literally are the bigger victims. Are you saying they're not? In the year ending March 2019, an estimated 2.4 million adults aged 16 to 74 years experienced domestic abuse in the last year (1.6 million women and 786,000 men). - from: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/bullet…

Interesting point. In that example do you think that happened because they'd been conditioned or taught to do that though? Or is it a natural instinct that kicks in with men because biologically they are larger/stronger (generally speaking) and have been the protectors of women evolutionarily speaking? If it's a taught thing, I'd be keen to know who's teaching them this and how.

Obviously a baby can't save anyone. Lol. I meant more like imagine if the sexes were reversed for a second... the story would be exactly the same. The sister would be considered a hero for saving a life. It's not that deep.

You're wrong. If the sister had saved her brother, she would also be celebrated.

I agree, however I don't believe that's what happened here... To teach men and boys to "throw their lives away to save others" is obviously awful!!! I think we can all agree on that? This is not that. This is simply a human saving a family member. When someone you love is in danger, the human fight or flight response kicks in regardless of what's between your legs.

I 100% agree with your rule 1 and think more people should opt for this! Right now for example, a simple walk in a park or along the canal with some takeaway hot chocolates (or mulled wine...) would be perfect to test the waters and see if there's a spark.
