I can only speak from my personal experience and what I've learned. For some women, just being interested in them is insulting. They find it disrespectful when men they find unattractive (such as myself) flirt with them; their logic being that it's ridiculous he thought he had a chance with her in the first place. Agreed. I want to understand everything, and strive to do so. I can only speak for myself, but when i find im not capable of understanding something, i find it disturbing in a way thats beyond my ability to describe. Natural selection is a real thing. I've considered that we're possibly just as susceptible to it as animals in the wild are. Although I don't think humans are quite as bound by it.
