Might look to getting whatsapp or something similar on all your phones and then setup group chats that has everyone, mainly you and the kids. If you have a partner that comes into your life later, can add them so everyone can chat and discuss. Also good for sharing the daily things. Let your kiddos know that you are always there on the other side of that phone, regardless of the time of day. It gives them a re-assurance that dad isn't gone just away. As for my 4 kiddos, the oldest is 30, second …

For myself I set up steam accounts for my kids when they were younger and now that the internet is actually available where they are, we play at least once a month and it is board type games like, UNO or Clue, or something else as well. It is something we do. There is discussion as those games progress along and finding out how everyone does so it is more than just the game.

Been divorced for 16 years now, my youngest was 5 when we separated. Main thing I found to focus on was work and staying in contact with the kids. Put them all on my phone plan as they got old enough and still text them to this day. I live in CA and they live in TX, I travel for my job and I let them know what I do when I travel in different countries and see different things. They tell me their troubles and I support them on the other end of the phone, even if I'm 16 time zones away. I tell you…

Bro - First year or two is the worst for what is effectively starting over. Focus on work and being in the kids lives. That is what helps gets you through, the means to see the kids and have them be with you for the times that you can be together. Do things with them that they don't do with her, make it special with them. As for finding the next partner or GF, don't worry too much about it right now, just get yourself back together. Invest in yourself and it pays off later with your kids and rel…

As one who is loosely called a stepdad, as I have not married his mother, I know that I have been more of a supportive "dad" than the guy that made him, who kind began to step"out" when he was about 5. I'm told he has learned much from my example and tenor than he has learned from his own father who left of his own accord when he was 16. Now, as a divorced father, I am also hoping that my kids step"dad" has been an example of how to be a good man and husband to their mom. Since our divorce I get…

I wouldn't be complaining if I only had to pay a 100 bucks a month per kid (4 kids) for the past 11 years. At 600 bucks a month per kid for the past 11 years, plus insurance and 50% additional medical insurance for a "parent" that can only see the kids twice a year due to geography and schedules. She getting government help while being a dept. manager of a store and the money the government gives for them. Yeah - I'm the stupid one for having kids in the first place.

When I got divorced we waited until the second week of the new year to file the papers. Christmas was about the kids and we just put up with each other. Kids had a good Christmas and they don't have the memory of that year being connected to the divorce. If it has been bad this long 2 more months won't be that long.

From an honest perspective - If you have to ask, then you can't afford it.

Yes it does say man up. Bring your A game when talking to a woman that you're trying to seduce. Get in her head and play there. If you can get in her mind and get her thinking about you nearly constant, then her body will follow. Put the video games down, honestly I am currently in a location that I see more men playing games on the phone than they do nearly anything else. Women are no less guilty of this where I'm currently, they spend more attention to the game than where they walk on the stre…

Comicon really has nothing to do with it. The fact that the post has a character that is confident, well dressed, and outside of the show, women seem to really like that in a man, it is something to take into consideration. If you don't or see it in another way, well then play your game dude.

It's a blow to a guys confidence for sure. Was married for 17 years and 4 kids later my ex had and affair for two years while I was work traveling and the marriage was in trouble 5 years before that. Lots of feelings of loneliness, hate, resentment, mixed with the prospect of being free of that baggage. Best advise I can provide is find yourself again, the type of you that was before your marriage. If something disappeared about your behavior from the situation you were in, find that again or wo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
