Question for divorced men who hookup how do you find so many women to have sex with?Baseline answer is be over 6’ and have a good job. The bar for men is so low that even if you don’t hammer both of those points, have a stable job and be interested in what they have to say (ask questions and listen) will go incredibly far | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/26 04:03 PM

If Tom Brady and Bill Gates got divorced then what chance do mere mortals have?Honestly, could you imagine being with someone that was so singularly focused on being great at something that didn’t involve you at all? THATS why they’re divorced. To pretend that because they’re rich means they’re not lacking in literally every other category as it relates to personal relationships is wildly out of touch with reality. Homie, do your thing. Keep being the best version of you and I can guarantee you offer a level of attention and empathy that those dudes could NEVER offer their… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/01/25 11:33 PM
Modern women aren’t worth itTo compare a relationship to poker in this instance without irony is exactly why folks stay mad and single. You are responsible for your own growth and search. Completely relinquishing your own autonomy and responsibility will keep you in that pit forever. I hope that you grab a therapist, join a gym, and get out instead of playing THAT game of poker forever | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/10/24 12:30 AM
Modern women aren’t worth itThis post and the comments are kind of a bummer. I get that a lot of folks have been burned but to lump all women together is silly - especially when I’m sure you would be the first to say “not all men.” Take a moment to find someone that makes you happy. It won’t happen without working on yourself first | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/10/24 08:32 PM
Help me I'm brokenI had the same feeling going through mine and was promptly proved wrong. The bar for men dating is so low right now. If you are an (mostly) adult with a job and are kind, it’s honestly shooting fish in a barrel. Breathe, get into therapy, work on yourself, and you will definitely come out on the other end of this in a better spot | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/08/24 05:41 PM
Probable divorceAs someone who did this, don’t. You’ll never be the good guy no matter how hard you try. You’re better off getting yours and no longer wasting your time trying to get her to admit she’s a problem…saying this from experience | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/07/24 01:10 AM
Post Divorce Dating ObservationI joined Feeld to start. Kind of an ENM/poly app (I’m not either of those) but LOVED it. It was perfect for where I was emotionally. Dating married women was such a solid ramp back into dating. All they wanted was to go on fun dates (and to have sex) without the emotional attachment that a lot are seeking. Plus, getting to ask about that lifestyle was fascinating | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/07/24 02:07 PM
Leaving my wife. This is fair but unbelievably worth it. Stick it out. You won’t be sorry | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/07/24 11:59 PM
Did you date during your divorce? How did it go?I did but was very up front about my current situation including being mostly emotionally unavailable and looking for a general distraction. Some were into it and some weren’t. It worked out well | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/07/24 03:11 PM
Men who made it to the other side of this with teenage kids.. Please post your stories.. I need to hear them..I asked them to try it out the first time and see. They were generally “meh” about it the first time and so I just told them that I need them to do this. “Dad goes every week and it’s been very helpful. I need you guys to see someone like I do so you have someone to talk to.” Luckily enough, that resonated. We also got lucky that the office I go to has a great child-focused practice. You might have some trial and error but speaking to my kids like people has really served me well | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/06/24 12:33 PM
Men who made it to the other side of this with teenage kids.. Please post your stories.. I need to hear them..Have two not quite teens and the best thing I did was get them into therapy immediately. Gave them an opportunity to speak with someone that wasn’t Mom nor Dad so they could be honest without worrying about hurting either of our feelings. At almost 3 years past, the dog has had a harder time than the kids. It’s important that you are able to show them what a healthy relationship looks like. Doesn’t have to be with their mother | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/06/24 09:36 PM

Trouble in the bedroom with other womenThe wildest realization after my divorce was that my dick was now attached to my brain where it wasn’t before (married in my early twenties) | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/24 06:17 PM
Ex Bringing Daughter Around Other MenWe had this built into ours that stated co-parent had to be introduced before meeting a romantic partner. It has worked out great, honestly. My fear was always with the kids and the potential that my ex wasn’t discerning enough | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/02/24 02:17 PM
Any regretsNo real regrets but, if you have kids, not being with them on certain holidays or birthday due to schedules is so fucking brutal. Been divorced for a few years and still sat in my car crying because I wasn’t with my older one yesterday on his birthday. That part hasn’t gotten easier. Don’t get me wrong, going back hasn’t once crossed my mind but it does suck still sometimes | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/24 08:15 PM
Son is hurting himself as a result of divorceBy we, I mean me. My ex has very “old ways” views on mental health unfortunately | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/24 01:29 AM
Son is hurting himself as a result of divorceBest thing we did was get my older one into therapy immediately. Found it fantastic for him to talk to someone that wasn’t his mom nor I. Honestly, cannot recommend highly enough | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/24 01:29 AM
How much money did you lose in your divorce?40k in legal. House (600k) and car (75k). Brutal but wanted the kids | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/01/24 11:52 PM
