We don't know. Men tend not to report rape. When they do few people believe them. Incarcerated offenders are even less prone to reporting a rape because it is viewed as snitching which is a very grave offense inside the prison walls. It is an AP article. From my personal experience the Seattle Times has no issue dragging men through the proverbial mud regardless of whom it injures. The AP has no problems publishing names and photos of accused men. Quick Google search can verify this.

No. Convicted rapists, child molesters, and murders deserve no mercy. They chose to violate the the most fundamental of social standards and behavioral expectations. They forfeit their lives by their own choices. Public execution serves to bring the state execution out of the dark back rooms into the public eye. It is not perfect legislation but it is a start. It takes two to make a baby naturally. It should take two to end its life. I do think there needs to be an avenue for the female to have the court terminate the father's right if necessary. I do think that a rapist should automatically forfeit any claim to any child created by rape. The rapist should also be publicly executed.
