Even if only 5% of males get cut at some point of their life for phony phimosis, that is not insignificant

Plenty of non-Jewish, non-Muslim French guys are cut because of phony phimosis diagnoses.

I thought they lived in France when jt happened. There are many Muslims in France and that likely normalizes it to some extent, but the dad looks like a douche so maybe he is cut and wanted his son to match.

Hm, I wonder why a men's rights sub would care about a men's rights issue

The problem is, the US medical profession whitewashes MGM so that no country will consider it serious enough that it actually needs to be banned. It's like a three headed snake (Jewish organization lobbying, American doctors claiming circ has no drawbacks, and general gynocentrism/misandry).

The threats from the ADL are empty. Even most cut Americans aren't going to fight Germany over them not allowing babies to be mutilated.

Agreed! It is so disappointing that Germany enshrined baby mutilation into law when they could have ended it.

I was reading the reviews for a circ clinic in London, and this American expat woman took a picture together with the Pakistani doctor and her freshly cut son. She and the "doctor" were both smiling.

I know that in the UK, Muslims and Africans frequently hire Jewish mohels to cut their sons. Many offer the home service. I could see this type of thing becoming common in the US if hospitals stop offering cuts en masse.

The 58% figure doesn't include post-maternity ward cuts (many cuts are done at the pediatrician's office within the first month of the boy's life)

That is literally American bullshit that you're citing

FUCK NO! Large studies from Canada and Denmark found no reduction in HIV prevalence among circumcised men. The "cut to stop HIV" thing is a bullshit campaign promoted by religious zealots and circumcision fetishists who want circumcision to be as accepted as possible so it doesn't die out. And even if circ did reduce HIV (it doesn't), it should only be a choice of the penis owner and not the parents.

I think it's probably political correctness, with the author tiptoeing around the fact that this is a direct result of immigration from Nigeria. But I do want to point out that there are plenty of Muslims in Italy and they also practice MGM

Did you read the article? The women who did this are Nigerian immigrants. Circumcision is unfortunately, universally practiced in Nigeria

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
