Look up mindfullness meditation. This is what ive been doing for a couple months it works great for me. Look up the meditation posts in trp so you can decide which type might suit you best.

I get the "what are you thinking" question alot as well. Its frustrating how uncomfortable some girls get with normal silence. How do you respond to this? I usually agree/amplify which works great, but sometimes theyll keep prying for answers and the A/A gets tiresome.
