You have to cultivate a friendship first. It’s never something you can ask outright. It’s also something your wife needs to be an extremely active participant. Again, you must woo her. Make her dinner. Don’t go for sex immediately. The same tactics it took to woo your wife you both now need to use.

You will need to understand that a lot of single women will avoid couples. A lot don’t want to be the couple’s unicorn. Instead you may want to consider being open to the idea of wooing another woman. I was with a couple. They treated me equally and not as a sex object. We are still best friends. You may try dating sites under your wife’s name as that may yield you more results. Again, stress meeting and getting to know the woman. Don’t treat her like a sexual toy. You will find an active partic…

I have been the victim of terrible abuse. I also know the line. If she won’t send the girl, it is only common sense not to send the boy. I have been in enough groups to hear men’s stories of abuse. It isn’t right.

The focus on Domestic Violence is huge in my state. I worked next to the contract manager for the DV program and she wanted that specific language to be corrected in the Legal code that it include men especially from same sex relationships because those statistics are awful. It is very focused upon.

I can’t discuss perpetrators. I do agree that the serious study of complex trauma is only beginning. It has been an issue here as there is a code of silence among men. It hasn’t been given air to be talked about. That needs to change ASAP.

I have one male in my trauma support group. I know he is getting a lot out of it. I wish that there were other male oriented groups (I would still do mixed as I need to know men can be kind). I had been in all female survivor groups but no male survivor groups existed so the men came with us. Again, we loved it because we needed the perspective that men are victims too and how not to victimize them ourselves. I learned to be open in therapy. There are a number of people that just don’t do groups…

I realize exactly what these words mean for men. It means that loss of hope, of choice. It means that you fear less ability to have equal custody, divorce settlements, and lost legal rights. All are genuine concerns. I said she did a shit job, as in this is a horrible post. Sorry if I wasn’t clear that I hated it. Honestly

This post is about the right to reproductive health. Do not think for one minute that it is about belittling the common man. It is rather a statement about the degrading healthcare system. Cool your jets. Women care about and respect men. This women did a shot job conveying that.

Johnny Depp is an excellent example of true feminism. What happened to him at the hands of Amber Heard is a prime example of female on male domestic violence and it needs to stop. RGB (RIP) the ultimate feminist took on male discrimination cases to prove sexual discrimination exits. She took on perceived bias against men, and used it to also attain legal rights for woman simultaneously. She cares about men, especially in the home. Men are still given custody at a smaller rate compared to women. …

Courts are evolving. It use to be impossible for a father to get custody. The courts always sent them to live with the mother. The needs of the children be damned. Then about 15 years ago the fatherhood initiative took hold. I worked in family services and I know terrible mothers and great father stories. I was raised from 15 onwards by my dad after Mother died. It was so awesome and calm. I felt safe. I know exactly how you feel.

My father was abused by my mother as I watched. I assumed that the female was the dominant force in the relationship but I never wanted to treat another person like she treated my father (screaming fits, accusations of cheating in front of children, beating us in front of him to make him feel helpless) all these actions had a terrible effect. I ended up with an abusive man. He had his own mother issues. I hope the Amber turd/Johnny Depp case brings all this chaos to light. Domestic Violence/sexu…

I had a paper route when I was 11 until 18. Every month I spent at least a week banging on over 150 doors to collect the money for the paper. I had to really learn how to be a charming, critical thinker (no homemaker got me with the “my husband has the check book” no money no paper). You are right, even when they say no people are very polite.

It maybe important to girls but a real woman who knows herself will feel a spark with you because of you, not your inseams.

I suck at getting back with guys. I do wait a few days, not on purpose, because I’m ignoring texts to play on reddit. Thank you for offering a friendly open ended reply. Sometimes the girl really does want to talk and a “ whatever” Sucks.

Women are so weird!! They actually expect to know someone comfortably before they do something as nerve racking as getting naked in front of her partner. Weirddddddd. Guess you’ll have to do some strength training with your hand. You should thank god it’s not 40 years ago when you were expected to get married before sex. That WAS SO LAME and I’m a woman.

I met my first husband with just 3 months sober. It was a terrible mistake that almost led to a relapse. You need to be friends only for the next six to seven months while you figure things out. I hung out at the Alano Club A lot (sober gathering place). I was super alone because I gave up all my old friends. Who was going to want to hang with me now?? Other alcoholics. If you don’t have one, get a sponsor. You dive head first into the program because it brings you around great people that know …

Yes!!! I love what was said about the fact that even if she rejected you, the next girl won’t. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. Happy you are “going for it”.

You already have that spark. Speak now before disappoint turns your relationship into the dreaded friend zone. Women love it when men are direct and honest. Even if she isn’t interested (highly doubt that) she will be polite (you know her best). She needs to know sooner, like this week, before you become too frustrated to speak. Remember. Direct. Honest.
