Though I own the flat, I am contractually forbidden from changing the outer appearance. For example, the doors and windows may not be changed without the management company's approval of the plans. Even the curtains must be tasteful! That's why I took the "grey man" approach and did DIY on the interior only.

You're right, politics shouldn't impede men going their own way. But you must admit that usually those who swallow the red pill are more to the right, and the blue pill more the left. Hence my assumption about these interviewers, who can't grasp the idea that Norm wouldn't want the company of "intelligent, strong princesses". I haven't heard the interviewers in any other video (thank goodness), but I just thought it was a safe assumption that they would be liberal.

Norm! I hadn't heard of Becker, but I just don't have time for shows. I have a big TV but no transmission, because I connect it to my PC for watching old films. But even those have been ruined by swallowing the red pill! I enjoyed Gone Girl and Blue Valentine, for exposing the toxicity of relationships. I made a MGTOW Movie Megathread some time ago, but I've run out of suggestions. When I get the time, I will rewatch classics like Predator and The Thing.

Someone posted the ending to Big Trouble in Little China, and that is hilarious - so satisfying! I promised to watch the film itself after seeing that. I downloaded that but never could bring myself to watch it, being narrow-mindedly allergic to any art made post-2000. But I guess it is especially relevant to us now that robots might replace women, since one of their few benefits is as a vessel for sex. Put some synthetic skin on that vessel, and heck it might just float. In a few decades (assuming the imminent economic collapse isn't inevitable), and the robots might be more attractive.

I agree, it's a great genre of it own. The only thing comparable that I can think of is Alien, and Sigourney Weaver is hardly feminine in it. Anything else as good as The Thing? I'd say Predator, but multiple guys risking their lives for that one girl? I can't rewatch it.

Good call! I was typing out my other John Carpenter recommendation They Live, without seeing this, so great minds think alike! We won't spoil it for others, but the ending is a real mindbender. So it is not only a cerebral "who's the monster?" thriller, but an action-packed horror movie.
