Hello, I’m a child free vegetarian man. Nice to meet you. I’m also married.

I might find 20 year olds very hot physically, but I wouldn’t want a relationship with one because physicality isn’t a relationship.

I think many men now have been brought up with the concept of ‘male privilege’ and that women are oppressed, and that men are to be feared because they are creepy and violent and disgusting. Then, when their self esteem has already been destroyed, they enter the dating market and find nothing but misery because they don’t have the genetics to be successful. This creates a cocktail of bitterness which leads to resentment and misogyny. Then a woman on the internet tells them they need to ‘take a s…

Thank you for bringing that article to my attention, it was interesting. I must also say I found it nonsensical, illogical and hypocritical.

Hot men rule the world, followed by hot women. We just live in the shadows.

The market for images of naked women has always been worth billions of dollars. The market for naked men is ten dollars a year and mainly gay. There is no doubt the attraction works differently in the abstract, but my real life experiences suggest that women who can attract chad will always seek intimacy with him in preference to uglier guys. So the abstract and the practical don’t seem to coincide. This has always confused me.

You possibly see a lot of women with unattractive men because, like most women, you see the majority of men as being unattractive.

Only weird insecure men worry about it.

A lot of the ‘men’ on here are about seventeen and think 30 is old.

I made the mistake of reading twoxx, fds and other womens’ subs, and became very distrustful of women. I adore the women in my actual life and have to remind myself that not all women despise me because of my sex. Reddit is a cesspool but an addictive one. You can become addicted to the horror.

Despite being as ugly as a deformed horse I did have a few one night stands when I was younger. Some were unrewarding and depressing, others were great and will stick in my memory forever. Sometimes you get lucky.

I don’t believe women are less horny, they are pickier which is not the same thing. And since there are a lot more dangers for women than men in casual sex they have every right to be.

Never thought about it once, seems bizarre that anyone would.

I absolutely would not give a shit, and I’m baffled by men who do.

One phrase; ask and listen. I see young men prancing about in front of women, trying to be funny, trying to be edgy, trying to impress. The best way to impress a woman is to take a genuine interest in her, her hopes and dreams. Because most young men will see her as a sex vessel to try and lure into bed.

I can certainly say that the handsome men in the chad fishing experiments inspired a great deal more sexual interest that had a good chance of subsequent activity than normal men, though your point about the non consummation is taken.

This is the image of women’s attraction that we are sold but my real life experience is that women find men they find physically attractive, then start to apply other criteria such as humour and intrigue. The majority of men pass them by as unseen and unknown as litter. Also, chadfishing clearly indicates that a handsome moron will be drowning in a sea of attractive women.

In my experience, men described as ‘ugly’ by women are much hotter than me and hotter than the average schlub in the street. Ugly usually means very attractive but not perfect.

Playboy is a poor example because the stereotype of the ideal centrefold has remained more or less unchanged over 60 years. Other body shapes have been introduced because men individually have different tastes, and women of any shape will have admirers, but the mainstream remains unchanged. I admit this now makes me seem like I know way too much about playboy. Have porn tastes changed over the years? I suppose or is possible that excessive exposure to porn can change sexual tastes in the individ…

With , sincerely, the greatest respect to your learned and rational take on the world, I feel I could take issue with one thing. I often see this theory that male sexual attraction has changed culturally in our lifetimes, with trends for waif-like figures, bigger bottoms etc, I do not think this is the case. Media and society has created trends in what is considered to be feminine allure, but men are immune to them because sexual attraction is not negotiable. We may be told Kate Moss is attracti…

I suspect what you think of as ‘average’ is actually in the top ten percent of men

Men and women are exactly the same except women have rounded breasts and bottoms which work to visually arouse men and create an urge to have immediate sex. There is no such obvious stimulus in men in public environments so attraction is more subtle/face based.

I hate my body. But I’m so straight I can’t imagine anyone finding any male body attractive. Even if it was much more conventionally masculine I’d still feel weird if a woman liked it. And I have a face like an angry horse which just completes the mess.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
