I did get my daughter Christmas evening. I dont get my step daughter just because of my living situation(not enough room). I miss the excitement that the girls have Christmas mornings. The hurt never goes away. My 5yr old told me all the cool stuff she got and how excited she was. My toys weren't as cool as a computer that her mom got her but we played barbies and went to go see Sonic today. When I went to drop her off with her grandmother today(her mom had to work) I gave my step daughter her g…

It will get easier. It will not feel like it at first. Honestly, it took me a year to really get over me ex. I promise it will get easier, just deal with it a day at a time.

You should say you'll get back together with her if her and her ex lover both suck your dick

Your obviously going to feel some type of way about her. Realize that caring for a person's well being is fine, but if it's not mutual it serves only one person. My ex is bipolar, cheated, lied, used me to pay bills, ect. I had to realize that I will love that person I fell in love with, but that person isn't there anymore. She became someone else and that someone else is not a person worthy of what I have to offer. There is no shame in feeling like you want to help. You're a man, that's what we…

I'm going through something very similar. Ex has bpd, drinking, cheating and all. Like everyone is saying hit the gym, talk to friends, and just realize that you are better going through and getting over the situation that you're in then staying in it and getting dragged down by it.

You are absolutely correct with what you have written. May I make a counter argument? At what point did the disrespect start? Was it something sudden or has it been happening for a while? Did she do it before and maybe got away with it? Has the relationship gotten to be the same tiresome thing? I think him going to marriage counseling is good for him and maybe good for the relationship, as well. Even if nothing loving comes back to him, wouldn't he learn from this experience? Idk but I think fig…

Sounds like your setting up for failure. Look, take it from me planing for the worst will bring about the worst. If I were you, I would do marriage counseling. Test the waters. If you think it will end anyway then what's the harm in doing it? If you believe this will help you and your wife's relationship, do it. If you believe this will help you, do it. Worse case scenario, if it doesn't work, you get a divorce. If it does work out, then it was worth it. Put forth the effort If you want it to wo…

If you honestly want to work things out, do the marriage counseling. If your done, don't go and move on. If you think it's worth a try, do it. You can always just tell her you know about the other dude, your trust with her is broken, and the disrespect that she's showing you by hiding things from you will not be tolerated. If your hearts not into it then it's already done and not worth the time to go to counseling. My wife and I are going to counseling now because I want it to work. Not just for…

Communication is key. He says he helps her with anything she needs but the arguments are the struggle. Sounds like they need to find a better way to communicate.

I'm sorry man. That's gotta be hard. I hope your frustration washes away quickly. That's a hard burden to bare.
