I freely admit vocalizing every positive thing I think about my husband was the work of many years. I can't even explain it, I thought these things but didn't say them nearly as much. Comfort though, that's always been on lock. These categories and how to hit your spots in them vary by individual though. Compatibility with one doesn't necessarily translate to men in general. I will say that tons of complimentary comfort cuddle times create the "best friend" vibe. Which is useful for when you're …

That simple, silly childhood story was only intended to convey phrasing being important and that it can backfire. My brother didn't even go after her. We laughed together because she was actually super bitchy, he just got caught suggesting it rather than outright saying it and there were unintended consequences. Again, that story was only to illustrate phrasing going badly because my original question was about why your phrasing was chosen. Fwiw though I think the super bitchy gf was way more re…

Understood :) I'm curious as to his response as well. I think we're cruel hypergamous harpies or shrewd domineering naggers depending on the girly comment box he's determined to stuff. Which flies in the face of 'OYS' but maybe my lady logic center is broken because my IUD prevents periods. I will sip all the tea and eagerly await his carefully crafted response. Though I *did* have fun telling my husband I have to leave him now. The loss of respect combined with the scratch on his face he got pl…

Word. Feminine is all day errday. Scandalous however, I could see that as bf/husband only attire.

I totally agree there's no formula. Some people will sure try hard to convince others there is though!

Yeah statistics being what they are make age gaps and youth dangerous to rely on for success. Having said that, we've stayed together longer than most of our friends and siblings so we've heard the musings of wondering if we "did it right" a few times. Which we think is funny because essentially we did everything "wrong." But I guess from that pov when you're in relationship forensics mode it seems rational. So I wonder if TRP recommending it comes from the same place.

Obviously 🙄 Though the context made it clear I wasn't talking about the woman specifically but the circumstances around marrying young, which is the only way I see TRP advocate for marriage. Marriage in general takes effort, marrying and especially having kids young has it's own issues that TRP doesn't break the surface of beyond it being worth it over low n-count worship. Which is completely lol.

I don't have a "CMV" response to this, but I wanted to throw in what I've seen about TRP regarding marriage. The advice I've seen from them is do the whole marry younger thing. Low to zero n-count, etc with no practical advice beyond that. Well I did that, and we're still together, yet I don't recommend it. I'm very happy and would do it all over again, but the older we get the more I feel like we threaded a needle. There's so much that can go wrong in any marriage so when you throw youth, an ag…

What lifestyle do you want? Tbh I'm not tradcon or religious either, but you don't have to be either to be in a committed relationship. I also like experimenting sexually with a partner I trust, but didn't let randoms get that experience. Your lifestyle is entirely up to you, choosing the right partner enhances rather than narrows options.

Umm fucking yes all of the above is cheating. Trying to get out of the "piv technicality" is a bitch move for a shirker who can't own the fact they're cheating. "Fingering isn't sexual I swear! I was just practicing the clit-fiddle for my sure to be sold out concert online...on PornHub..." Get the fuck outta here 😂

ya silly. I really wanted to have some witty comeback to this in a /s all up in my feels way, but I'm being comment widowed. I'm gonna have reddit regrets I need to rationalize to myself until wit returns!

No, it's not devolving. You seem to be saying that a woman can't/isn't feeling love or infatuation in a alpha widow situation. I'm saying whether what she's feeling is "legit" or not, there are feels involved on her part or she hasn't been alpha widowed. It's not strictly great sex that is the take away, women can and do get over that every day. Sex is the easy part to come by for women. Sex + "Chad" the whole happy ever after because he's just so "perfect" and losing that is where the widow par…

Right, but it's a feels haze she can label in any way she sees fit to justify her actions with a so called alpha, and it casts her in a light she can lean on when she gets dumped and tries again for a man she feels is in the same league. The label of choice being "in love!" because it gives a sense of legitimacy (real or not) to the what lead up to being widowed.

Well I'm not really defining love so much as explaining that a young derpy woman will tell herself she's "in love" while she's shooting for the alpha moon as the alpha (s) shoot her full of loads. It's a justification to herself for being strung along up to the point she's "widowed." This isn't a situation a woman would be in for a beta as security and commitment there is either gained easily or easily discarded.

No I don't mean they're the same thing, I mean they can have the same affect on a woman blinding her to cumdumpster status. Convincing herself that this "Chad" can be won over despite evidence to the contrary; and when dumped, keep her thinking someone like him will one day see her as she saw herself in the situation. Even as she pines away for that alpha who widowed her.

She doesn't care, because girls would rather be one of many in the harem of an alpha, than the one and only of some disgusting creepy beta. and This guy is now her high water mark for the kind of guy that she thinks he can get. But her fatal flaw is in assuming that she could ever get such a guy to commit to her. are only in agreement (in a non-shrewd young woman's mind) if she thinks she's "in luuuurve" and doesn't see herself as a pump-n-dump behind the haze of all those feels. She "deserves" …

Would be way more interesting as a CMV for women to answer. As a Q4Men it's destined to be circle jerk.

[Q4Women] How long does it take the average woman (you and your friends) to find a bf? A couple months. If you're looking for compatibility with multiple factors rather than strictly looks it's not an overnight thing. [Q4 Men & Women] What's the longest dry spell you have had? Were you unhappy about it? 8 months, very happy about it since it was purposeful and intended to avoid my shitty relationship decision making skills. [Q4 Men & Women] Have you ever ended a dry spell with a hookup? How did …

I'm 5'7" and he's 6'2" I don't think height made a difference at the time. Taller than me isn't a shared trait in people I dated. I had a thing for great faces though I'll own that. But I have specific happy memories now that are attached to his height, so it is an attractive trait. Also he was into weird shit in LA, but drama and violence didn't happen around him and by extension me. I'm not dumb enough to assume it's because he was "just so nice!" I'm 38 and he's 45 We met when I was 19 and da…
