I would assume somebody who recognizes the "better" person as being objectively better than their SO but still loves their SO more than anyone else and due to that reason, has no interest in upgrading. But I also assume this person is probably a unicorn or even rarer than that.

What about external influences? If a "better" person came along, would you upgrade?

Okay, so what would it take for you to leave your partners? Would you replace them with another person who's "better?"

Read the rest of the thread. Isn't it damn obvious that no guy is happy about having sex with an ugly woman? It's a bigger sacrifice than you think, especially when you account for possible accidental pregnancies or STIs.

You could say the same thing about truly irredeemably ugly men though. Human attractiveness is on a bell curve; if 5/10 is a true mean of human attractiveness, then 65% of humans are going to fall within 4-6/10. Somebody who's "irredeemably ugly" would have to be a 1 or 2 and that's the bottom 2% of the human population. Meaning literal physical deformities. So if we're going to disregard the truly irredeemably ugly i.e. the bottom 2% because they're too few to be considered relevant to any disc…

Honestly, I wasn't even thinking about the actual type coverages. I was thinking more about the practicality and logistics of having a t-rex as a partner, especially during arguments. Tbh, I would chosen Sableye or Mawile for type coverages even though they're not really my favourite pokemon.

I've seen it work. Some people are just very forceful and like planning stuff out. I just recently went to a wedding for a couple who've been dating for 10 years and they're exactly like that. The dude is super easy going, creative, and relaxed about pretty much everything but his wife is very structured, precise, and has a bulldozer personality. People joke about her wearing the pants in their relationship but they themselves don't consider it being "masculine" or "feminine" or having specific …

Yo, that's what you're supposed to do. If Pokemon were real, I'd absolutely get a Tyrantrum just to literally stomp people into the curb.

No. Many obese people are poor because they can't afford to go to the gym or eat healthily. Unfortunately in North America, it's very common that people at the poverty line will likely only be eating very low quality food that's very high in corn syrup, preservatives, fat, and sugar. It's also common for people at this point of poverty to have more than one job, meaning very little time to prepare food and take care of themselves; meals usually come out of cans or boxed tv dinners. There's also …

True but you could compliment individual qualities and say what you find attractive about the person. Qualitative things instead of quantified. That's generally nicer and more understandable than designating somebody a number since you're giving reasons why you think they're attractive and unattractive instead of bluntly telling them they're only a certain level of attractive to you. Basically, this is why people generally say you're not their "type." It's a broad way of saying "I think you have…

It's just rude. Whether you're a man or woman, ugly or hot, it's really not nice to tell somebody that they're ugly. And quite frankly, if you're rating a person's looks, then you're technically calling them "ugly" to some extent, even if they're top-tier in looks. If you want to compliment somebody, then attractiveness should be binary. Not gradient.

That doesn't mean they're incels. It just means they're not having sex. That could be for a multitude of reasons like religion, voluntary celibacy, asexuality, lack of interest in hook up culture, etc. Why do you have to assume that they're all incels?

Or maybe that's because you're in purple pill debate where there's dissenting opinions on everything and being marked controversial doesn't actually mean anything.

Tell that to the Trobriand people. They're matrilineal.

An Arduino is a toy and more importantly, a crutch. If you sincerely want to learn electronics, there's far better options available that teach fundamentals and circuit design. I would suggest looking for the textbook "Practical Electronics for Inventors." Microcomputers are extremely limited when it comes down to it. Fun to play with but not a great option the farther you get into electronics because the boards are too bulky and inflexible. As for free 3D CAD software, SolidEdge is more transfe…

I don't know about moron but I'm most definitely condescending. I'm almost disappointed that this is all you can do but then I remember you post on this sub and that's all your poor brain is capable of. My condolences.

It's a toy. It's 100% a toy. Virtually nothing that you can learn with an Arduino is transferable to industrial automation. Why don't you learn something useful, like PLC programming? Or even LabView? Like shit, even Excel VBA is more useful than the neutered C++ you learn from playing with an Arduino.

HAH. Arduino? Are you joking? How old are you, 14?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
