How do you persist in something that has such a low success rate? (Other than by reframing and redefining success?)

you should think about or research spiro if you're female- it's a hair loss drug that works for women and is used by MTF trans people to get hair. It's quite effective, and I wish I could use it as a man.

What constitutes "normal" is ill-defined imo. For example I am comfortable asking for directions, but not comfortable saying hi to someone out of the blue.

I meditate 30 minutes a day - it's helped me with things like my focus and presentness and has helped me get started doing some very light approaching, but a prolonged lack of success isn't doing me any favors and it feels like tangible success (positive reactions from others, nothing internal). is the only thing that can really help. On top of that I basically feel invisible in my day to day life, e.g. i don't get IOIs or whatever the fuck they're called here, and I've never had someone express…
/r/seduction10/11/21 07:32 PM
1

Well, I don't think that way - I always think the, if I did X or had Y, the outcome will be different. Of course, that is not very close to reality from what I can tell, but I still need to deprogram those kinds of thoughts - it's not easy to when the majority of interactions end up this way, as well, as the statistics of it suggest a systematic problem, not just the result of osmeone's idiosyncratic preferences.

Good on you, but be warned most ppl don't make long lasting change this way. The key is gradual, progressively more extreme changes.

20% seems like a rather high estimate no? Or rather - its very contingent and depends on your looks, status, personality etc.
/r/seduction28/10/21 05:48 PM
2

Have you heard of the good looking loser approach anxiety program? It essentially doesn't make you start approaching but instead does it gradually, through different types of interactions with people (eg asking for time, directions etc.)

/r/seduction23/07/21 01:19 PM

Please reread what I wrote - i referred specifically to OPs method which is dming girls on Instagram. This is a method with a very low success rate and if you can succeed with it it means you're a well above average guy who doesn't need advice from dating videos.
/r/seduction21/07/21 12:55 PM
2

Most people who watch these videos are not in these situations you are in. They probably don't have large social circles with lots of girls in them, and don't have enough status/charisma/good looks to have a decent number of followers on IG. If what you're describing works for you, you are way above a lot of the guys on this sub in certain aspects of your life. Good for you! But I still maintain that what you do won't work for most guys.
/r/seduction21/07/21 12:11 AM
1

Lol you're delusional if you think the average guy can do this. You may not need online advice but other people might.

/r/seduction18/06/21 12:59 AM

Please read this: https://mennohenselmans.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-for-bodybuilders/ you actually need less protein the more advanced you become. Also mcdonalds macros are not bad for certain menu items. What really matters for total strength is 1 - hitting adequate protein, which is not as high as 1 g/lb, and 2. total caloric intake - e.g. eat moar.
/r/seduction13/06/21 12:23 AM
0

1g/lb is usually too much.
/r/seduction12/06/21 10:19 PM
3

I would maybe start not with cold approaches, but just talking to people - maybe pretending to be new to town asking for questions, or just making conversation. It is difficult to dive into the deep end immediately, and most people who do don't do so for long - consistent small progress jumps big gains any day.
/r/seduction11/06/21 03:07 AM
1

Some of these things can be learned, but others come through life experiences - in particular through things like getting rejected, but also just being happy with yourself and what you do. Just my 2c!

Most people can't beat the market - but learning basic finance and investing is always good.
/r/seduction28/05/21 11:58 PM
1

Because it's like cold calling - there is no (or little) prior connection between you and the person you're talking to. It's just an English expression i guess. If someone is cold towards you means they are not receptive or neutral. Warm means opposite.
/r/seduction20/05/21 12:43 AM
1

Could you give some examples of social things please
/r/seduction20/05/21 12:38 AM

I'm only interested in cold approach because I get literally 0 matches on apps.
/r/seduction19/05/21 11:02 PM
1

Well, from what I've seen on things like incel subreddits or dating advice subreddits, a lot of the advice given to men for dating is of the form - go do X, no girl will like you if you don't do /have X. E.g. - have a decent job, have ambition, be fit, go take a shower etc. And to be fair to the people that give this advice, if you're someone who lives in his mom's basement surrounded by dirty laundry, yeah you'll have a tough time and you know why. But a lot of people on this sub have checked…
/r/seduction19/05/21 10:35 PM
2

Thanks for the advice man - I've done such exercises, and frankly while I've been doing what I can do address what I dislike, it never feels like enough lol. Almost developed a mild case of body dysmorphia/bigorexia.
/r/seduction19/05/21 10:30 PM
19

Yeah - this coupled with some bad experiences leads to pretty low self worth and fearw of further negative reinforcement.
/r/seduction19/05/21 03:09 AM
1

Damn - I fit both of those criteria. Still no success. Maybe one day

Incel here living in NYC. Any tips lol? So many hot people.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/21 03:39 AM

Yeah - only reason I'm interested in cold approach is cause I get zero matches on Old
/r/seduction02/05/21 10:56 PM

Could you give some examples of hobby groups?
/r/seduction02/05/21 10:56 PM

Step 1: Look good. Step 2 : Talk to girls.
/r/seduction01/05/21 02:01 AM
1

Interesting - it feels to me like everyone is cold, brusque, always has someplace to be etc., which I understand since many people here are focused, high achieving people. I know indoor dining is open - I wonder if people would be open to socializing with strangers.

Thanks - I'll try to maintain some persepctive.
/r/seduction26/08/20 02:53 AM

That's fair, but when people don't reciprocate I take it as an indication that I've in-fact offended them or made them feel worse/uncomfortable.
/r/seduction26/08/20 02:25 AM
1

This is well written but ultimately doesn't convince me. In my opinion it's not too complicated - a person's value in the dating world is governed by how many options they have. I have none, and most women (my age, and say - at my level of physical fitness) have many more options than I do. This my value is much lower than theirs. It's a basic corollary of supply and demand.

I hate myself and feel worthless for this sole reason - a lack of any sort of relationships with the opposite sex throughout my whole life. I'm 22 years old and never kissed anyone except for a sex worker I hired. Whenever I walk on the street it feels like most women just turn away from me, even if I try to make eye contact and smile. I don't talk to or interact with women because I automatically assume they don't want anything to do with me, and I never have a reason to interact with them plat…
/r/seduction19/07/20 08:05 PM

I don't know man, have you never met someone who is fairly successful in other aspects of their life but frustrated due to a lack of interest from the opposite sex? That's basically me and I don't feel that it's as weird or uncommon as you might think.
/r/seduction19/07/20 04:00 AM

What if you put yourself out there and got success? Many of the girls I've dated, I pretty much expected to be rejected, and then was pleasantly surprised when I wasn't. Rejection hurts, but that success is an equally powerful feeling too man. Can't really imagine that ngl - there's a large body of evidence in my mind that says that won't happen. You might consider re-framing your persepective. You should know that rather than reject you, some girls will string you along hoping you'll give them …

Thank you for the elaborate and well written response. I just don't know when or how I'll be able to implement it. I just feel so lacking and inadequate, and feel like I'll never feel adequate unless I'm validated externally. It would hurt so much if I finally decided to put myself out there and just got rejected.
/r/seduction17/07/20 01:32 AM

Not the person you're replying to, but my self image is already shit, despite having worked on myself a lot - I'm not ready to accept that 9/10 people won't want anything to do with me.
/r/seduction16/07/20 04:05 PM
1

How does one feel worthy of love without the reinforcement of other people and their opinions?
/r/seduction16/07/20 04:03 PM
1

Describes me to a t: Despite having worked on myself a lot, and having improved my fashion, skincare, and hitting the weights, dating apps have convinced me that any person who I am attracted to will reject me or ignore me. And frankly, I already hate myself enough and feel that I'm completely worthless - I'm not ready to handle any more reinforcement of that in the form of a rejection. And deep down inside I believe it's all I'll get, especially after people on this site and youtube and whatnot…
/r/seduction16/07/20 04:03 PM
1

Describes me pretty well: dating apps etc.have convinced me that I'm guaranteed to get a negative reaction from anyone who I perceive as attractive, despite having worked on myself a lot.

As someone who's in a similar situation as OP, I personally wouldn't have issues dating someone with experience if I had some experience myself. It's basically just insecurity at the end of the day in my case. A lot of times being a late bloomer makes me feel very unworthy and like less of a human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/20 04:39 AM
1

How do you deal with this if all you feel is you've gotten rejected your whole life? (Not just women, but things like job apps, college apps, sports teams, etc.)
/r/seduction09/06/20 09:06 PM
1

It's all I can think about these days. I'm reminded of it every day, all the crap I slogged through and all the work I did with absolutely 0 payoff. Literally no one cares about it.
/r/seduction05/06/20 09:31 PM
1

Sure, I understand its a difficult question. However I also do think a woman needs to be physically attracted to you to have sex with you. I think money is generally the least important, and status is the most - status here doesn't necessarily mean being a member of the royal family, but rather, having that cool factor and having some sort of acknowledgment/respect from your peers.
/r/seduction05/06/20 06:44 AM
1

how do you obtain such a vibe?
/r/seduction05/06/20 01:13 AM
3

SMV = sexual marketplace value, or a general metric of how attractive you are to the other sex, based on looks, status, wealth, charisma etc. also yeah man, it's easy to read and posit stuff like this, but honestly its hard to distance my own self worth from the judgements of others (usually women). It hurts me like nothing else when I put effort into something and feel like I didn't get anything from it, or when I see those around me succeed with less effort than I do.
/r/seduction04/06/20 12:05 AM
1

Dating apps have destroyed my self-esteem. Don't really have the wherewithal to date IRL. I feel like if I get rejected on the app I'll basically get rejected IRL. I'm not sure though, part of me doesn't believe in things like women "detecting" someone's vibe or energy or whatnot - it doesn't make sense to me that they (and them alone for some reason) have these sort of telepathic abilities.

I can't argue with this. I totally agree, I'm just not sure how to shake this. My internal self worth is not so great, so I think rejection or repeated rejections will really mess me up internally. A lot of it has to do with being old (22) and having zero romantic experience.
/r/seduction29/05/20 02:57 AM

I'm pretty sure the number of men into grooming and fitness is at an all time high. I think you're kind of painting an all too common caricature of the guy who doesn't bathe and tries to date models or something like that.
/r/seduction24/09/19 05:05 PM

haha yes (you see my username) But i would say eyebrows is one of the more tangential looksmaxes. Things like hair, teeth, skin all matter quite a bit more. Most men have decent eyebrows and eyelashes just by existing.

/r/seduction23/09/19 04:41 PM

Generally white dudes have it easiest I'd say. I would say that south asian males are considered the least desirable due to negative/unmasculine portrayals in media and whatnot. A lot of asian girls like white dudes due to self-hating tendencies, and i would say its a toss up for black dudes, a lot of girls really like them, and a lot of girls may not want to give em a chance.
/r/seduction22/09/19 03:26 AM
1

fair enough. i also never assumed younger people came to these meet ups (younger being early twenties, like myself). how's your experience been?
/r/seduction09/09/19 10:02 PM
1

What groups do you join where it's socially acceptable to hit on people? We often always hear women giving the same complaints of them getting hit on whenever they try to do anything , esp meetups.
/r/seduction09/09/19 08:50 PM
2

I'm saying nothing of the sort. All I'm saying is that you wouldn't have gotten 7/10 numbers, and you wouldn't be on this website, claiming it's "not that hard", if you weren't a good looking white dude. You did everything right and eerything you posted is great, but imo a good portion of your success has to do with your looks, and its a little disingenuous to say "it's not that hard" as if your experience is representative of an average looking person's experience
/r/seduction23/08/19 08:32 PM

OP is a good-looking white dude. Move on everyone.

Of course. Everything I refer to in the above is regarding my age range (18-21) Most cute girls had bfs throughout middle and high school and are probably sexually experienced. I have never had a GF, nor do I have sexual experience. Most cute girls consistently get invited to things by virtue of them being girls that are cute and have been going to parties since high school. I rarely get invited to anything because I'm not a cute girl and as a result building a social circle is much harder. I wa…

No one walks around on the street with a suit. It looks silly. No one said you have to wear streetwear either. A well-fitting t shirt and a pair of jeans will get you farther than any suit. I get what you're trying to say, but I think it's misguided. No one will perceive you as high value, just because you wear a suit, and I advise that no one do this. Walking around in a suit all day (especially a 50$ H and M suit that's blocky and will last a month) will make you look like a clown. Get some de…

Thanks, but I don't want to do this with the intention of stroking anyone's ego. I just want to say what's on my mind.

Yeah I just kinda froze up and over thought the situation. Plus she was with friends so it was a bit unnerving. Chicks always are with friends.

in the same boat friend tried tinder, single digit matches even after a decent amount of time spent in the gym and some work on my fashion. I've got a great friend group in school but it feels so hopeless. I don't know any girls at all. All dudes. None of them have ever introduced me to a girl and none of them really hang out with girls. I started a photography club at my school, very few/no girls in it, despite photography being one of those activities. Hardcore math major with aspirations for …

Most girls I know are into generic looking white dudes. The opposite of rarity. Value does not equal rarity in this case.
/r/seduction13/05/19 01:07 AM

Fair enough. All I'm saying is to temper your expectations. I've seen amazing looking Indian dudes get single digits matches and white dudes with a beer gut get matches in the hundreds(same location) which has made me healthily skeptical of online dating for ethnic guys.

Don't forget about race. Online dating is brutal for ethnics (Asians and Indians)

Good genes get guys inside the sex zone too. The standard of what constitutes good genes is way higher though.

If you believe in this, what don't you like about the incel movement? (Not trying to call you out as an incel, I post on Braincels myself, don't let the Reddit gestapo hear that one, just interested in what you think inceles are).

I'd also like to know. Kinda in a similar situation, hardcore math student so 0 girls in classes. Friends have never introduced me to girls, get 0 matches on Tinder because I'm not white. I've been trying to go out more but a little clueless in terms of party scene.

There's an app called digital detox timer. It locks you out of your phone for as long as you set it for. If you want back in you have to pay a fee.
